DC=12 Druidic You know Druidic, the secret language of druids. You can speak the language and use it to leave hidden messages. You and others who know this language automatically spot such a message. Others spot the message's presence with a successful DC 15 Wisdom (Perception) check but can't decipher it without magic. Whether it is through his magic or through or mundane means, he enjoys doing what he can to make others' lives easier. Restless- Having been on the road for years he does not enjoy staying in one place for too long. When he feels there that there is nothing else for him to do in one location he prefers to move on. Non-materialistic- He places little value in coin or material goods, when he does spend money he tends to spend frugally. Because he is not used to making purchases he has a hard time knowing if he is being overcharged or not. Ideals Nature- The natural world is something to be valued and protected. Destiny- Everyone has some goal they must achieve or some place to be. People just need to find their path first. Harmony- Everyone is a part of the world and everyone should strive to work together. Bonds Old Order- Despite having left his previous circle, Baldrick still feels a strong connection to his people and their teachings. Home- Since leaving his home, Baldrick has yet to find a place he truly felt that he belonged. Still, he believes that there is a place for him and he continues to look. Peace- Living in solitude has given him an appreciation for moments of quiet tranquility. He often tries to find somewhere he can meditate and put his mind to ease. Flaws Naive- Being unfamiliar with city life and its people, Baldrick is often at a disadvantage dealing with them. He tends to trust others a bit too easily. Loner- He has spent several years traveling alone, and is not accustomed to relying on others. While he may trust easily, learning others strengths and weaknesses is a slow process for him. Inflexible- He has strong beliefs on how the world works and tends to dismiss views that differ from his own. History Born to a Druidic circle dedicated to preserving a forest, Baldrick always knew he would spend his life in service of the natural world. However, as he grew older he realized he never felt at ease, even in his own home. When he was old enough, he set out in search of a place that right to him. During his travels he found many forests, meadows, and groves that could have been a good home, but inevitably, he always felt pulled away. Despite never finding what he was searching for, or even knowing what he was searching for, Baldrick continued to roam the land offering what aid he could to those he met. Eventually, he was found himself drawn to the city of Waterdeep, the first city he had very been to. Unsure why he was here, Baldrick was determined to find the reason why the city called to him.
