She had failed. The fact that they hadn't seen anyone besides her and her sister spoke volumes. Sure, he hated them for what they had done to the mutants down on Earth... but he also recognized he would have done the same thing for Asgard. His heart constricted briefly at the very thought of it. He hadn't been able to save his planet, his people. He couldn't blame Medusa for failing to save hers. Taking his seat in the pilot's chair, Raynor started pulling up the coordinates for Cardiff, Wales. It had been a while since he had gone to the United Kingdom. They had a lot of Brits on the team though, something he found amusing. From what he recalled, Cass, Oliver, Matt, and Tinley were all from the UK. He didn't have long to ponder this though. Sparky's news hit him like a bucket of ice to the groin. Every muscle of his froze, as terrifying flashbacks to seeing her body, dead and broken, came over him. Had they changed the future just for him to lose her again? "Tempest.... TEMPEST!" Raynor screamed, his voice hoarse and terrified. "Tempest, we need a medic, now!" He was physically shaking. He spotted Oliver and instantly, he knew that he was to blame. He had exposed everyone. Raynor tried to shape a ball of light in his hands, but the light dissipated almost instantly. Fuck it. He tried again, sending a blast off at Oliver that hit the new inhuman in the chest. "You! You did this!" Raynor raged. "Give me one goddamn reason why I shouldn't rip your skull out of your head!"

Kirby General Hospital - NYC: February 14th, 2021 - 11:10 A.M.

Bonnie Chase

Location: Operating Room -> the Mirror Dimension Skills: N/A
"No, you're going to check on her yourself. You're not going to die, Cass," Bonnie reassured her, gripping her friend's hand. Hardly any time passed between Cass' assent to being taken into the Mirror Dimension and Doctor Strange wielding his eldritch magic, drawing a circle in front of them with a peculiar ring on his finger. He then unceremoniously dragged the two girls on through and shut the door behind them. Everything was distorted in this realm, moving at odd paces and speeds. It looked like a mirror to the true reality, allowing Doctor Strange to place Cass on the operating table. "Nurse, remove her suit - she won't need it. There's no Terrigen Mist in the Mirror Dimension," Strange instructed. He was making complex hand gestures, seemingly conjuring magical energy in the shape of tools. "Nurse?" Bonnie objected. "I'm a doctor. I won't take disrespect from you, Strange," she snapped. But as much as she had to defend her principles, she also wanted to save her friend's life. She worked at getting the suit off of Cass as quickly as she could, starting with the helmet that way Cass wouldn't have to stare at its bloody coating. The rest of the suit was a little more difficult, with Bonnie having to tug it off of each of Cass' arms first and then her legs before she could remove it in full. "Good, now I can assess the damage," Strange announced. He reached forward and pulled Cass' astral form out of her body, able to do so even within the Mirror Dimension. "I find that removing the astral form is more effective than using painkillers," he then mused. The strange instruments of pure magic that he had conjured were then inserted in through Cass' mouth and forced down her throat. When Strange pulled them back out, they were coated in an unnatural blue slime. "....What... is that?" Bonnie asked, her eyes wide with alarm. "Is that her blood? Or... the magical version of it?" Strange chuckled slightly, shaking his head. "Close, my dear. This is her life force. I have made the application of magicks to medicine my area of expertise. My diagnosis - Miss Reed, if you wouldn't mind focusing as best as you can at the moment - is that I am afraid any further exposure to the Terrigen Mists will prove fatal. If you leave the Mirror Dimension, you will die."
