Seriously. I'm not a cuddler in my sleep, because I'm a warm sleeper and I hate being hot. And he's a furnace when he sleeps. But, I feel comforted by his presence, so at the very least I lay a hand on his arm or something.
I've been smacked. In his sleep. 
He [i]really[/i] doesn't like to be touched in his sleep. 
I've also gotten a few elbows to the face. He never remembers.
