Route 7 wasn't very favorable for most of his Pokemon save Wooper and Cacena. However in an even match Dawkin's Pokemon would likely come out ahead anyway. Furthermore he wanted them all to get some training and to get used to battling some more. Thus, he would head out into Route 7 to find some training [s]victims[/s], [s]dummies[/s], wild Pokemon. He would cycle through to make sure each of his Pokemon got to fight someone once, excluding Feebas as the water Pokemon wouldn't have much ground to stand on so to speak. In addition Dawkin would have his Pokemon not fighting still out of their Pokeballs and watching. Or at least, that was the plan anyway.
