[b]The Fallen: [/b]Noble vampires that have been stripped of their title and are cast out.

[b]Coven:[/b] a group of witches that consists of one or more families with the oldest female of each family as the matriarch 

[b]Council: [/b]vampire nobles that are appointed by the High Priestess to represent their existence during a trial and enforce vampire law. 

[b]Spawn: [/b]the child of a witch or healer and a vampire. Their blood is special due to the genetic mix in their DNA. They have the ability to summon demons without a spell. 

[b]Familiar:[/b] a human who is turned into a vampire. They have the lowest ranking in the Council 

[b]Bloodbinding Ceremony:[/b] a ceremony where a vampire and a witch or healer share their blood for the first time. The marriage is valid until the vampire decides to move into the Underworld. The witch or healer gets all material possessions from the vampire that passes on. 

[b]Fledgling: [/b]a vampire who successfully transitions into the Underworld where they become a demon.

Wicker Falls was established in 1600 in the coast of Pennsylvania, just twenty miles south of Philadelphia. In the beginning of the colony of Wicker, there were only fifty residents in the small settlement which quickly became two hundred in the span of ten years. Merchants decided to make a life in the settlement of Wicker due to its closeness to the sea and its convenience of where it was located. There are seven founding families: Mercer, Bennett, Whiteford, Everly, Whitlock, Busto, and Acewood.
