Alice sighed. 
"I...I am not sure. I felt it was just dumb luck that I even got a role, let alone the female lead...."
She froze for a moment. 
"I remember feeling eyes on me ever since I first started auditioning, and even before then when I simply worked backstage. Then, suddenly, others who auditioned either gave up or called it quits, dropping out one by one until it was just a few of us. I thought it was....rather odd."
Alice shook off the memory. 
"I am not sure why he is so obsessed with me. I just know that he is."
