In fact, she's managed to hold her position at the register since her start, meeting and greeting customers despite her odd mannerisms. Mochi can't tell if it's because she's perfected this balance of being strange yet acceptable, or if he just wants her around.

It's unclear if he tolerates her because he likes her, or because having her around gives him the possibility of using her as a scapegoat for the police. Either way, they occasionally meet on the streets and alleyways of Tenoroshi in the dead of night.

Possibly due to getting it smashed, falling out of his pocket, or other such calamities befalling his smartphone, Mitsuo has gotten shockingly good at repairing them, and makes ends meet by monetizing that service.

They are his sons and daughters, and though he works them hard as they can take, it's out of a true commitment to seeing them achieve their dreams. Shockingly great with kids for being such a hard-nosed man of the sea. He and Iwao are currently not on speaking terms.

Thankfully, weddings usually give him enough cash to survive through the months. At his core, he's a 30 year old man who's never actually learned how to be an adult and wanders through life taking pictures.

Unfortunately for him, his general pleasantness has resulted in him handing a few too many business cards out to concerned citizens.
