Rough and choleric, Jhackson is the stereotypical 'youth with a chip on his shoulder' - and as you would expect from the type, is a much kinder person than his attitude implies. Dislikes being idle, since being idle often leads to introspection, which he is not a huge fan of. Not at all an honest person, he will often lie or swindle if it means bettering his position, even a little, though within limits. Persevering and stubborn, he is not prone to giving up in times of difficulty, and telling him not to do something will more often than not result in him doing the opposite.

Jhackson was born from the union of a Kapre and a human, his father Don and his mother Julia. His mother never knew about his fathers' true identity. While his father was (and still very much) smitten with his mother, the far too early pregnancy and the hardships that followed soured both her opinion towards him, and the then unborn Jhackson. 

A distance grew between them as he got older, childish attempts at getting her attention became a deep seated resentment that found violence and vice as its outlet. This resentment only grew once his mother married his stepfather, who was ill-prepared to deal with an angry preteen Jhackson. So for the most part, he remained distant from his family. 

It was around this time that his biological father met with him for the first time, and where he discovered his true lineage. To say he didn't care would be an understatement. His anger was such that when his father extended an invitation to this 'Silver Gate Academy' to help him learn to adapt to a world he never knew existed, he turned him down out of sheer spite. 

As time passed, he completely cut himself off from them. Until the birth of his siblings.

When his mother announced that she was pregnant with twins, he hated them at that moment. It felt like all the affection that he was deprived of had been saved for them instead. He bore a grudge towards them before they were even born.

And all that anger, all that resentment that was bottled up... simply evaporated.

He loved them on the spot. The two small, weak, soft things cradled in his mothers' arms. He was but thirteen years old at the time, and back then he did not know what it was he was felt for them, but it was love. Over the next year, he did his best to be a big brother to them, a motivation which keeps him going to this day.

[*] [i]Demon Magic[/i] - Access to minor fire manipulation and generation, and nature magic affinities. Spells learned or use relating to any of the aforementioned elements will also have a boost in power.

[*] [i]Immunity to Smoke[/i] - As a half-Kapre, Jhackson cannot be blinded, suffocated, or otherwise affected by smoke.

[*] [i]Resistance to Fire[/i] - As a half-Kapre, Jhackson has a minor resistance to fire, making him harder to burn, catch fire, and less affected by heat.
