"Of course. Let's move quickly. Kor, Yorik, can you two secure this area while the rest of us take Dimos to the temple?" The two men nodded and saluted Shor. "Aye captain. We'll take care of things here." Already a crowd was forming on the opposite side of the river, and Kor was quick to make them leave the area so he and Yorik can cover the crime scene. The rest of the group hit the main road and would go straight to the Temple of the Maker, which was within the Castle Ward. The Castle Ward, unlike the rest of the city, looked like it was built upon huge white stone walls, so tall and vast that the only thing you could see above them was the equally huge and unfathomably large sword that the Castle Ward seemed to be built over. It cast a large shadow over the town at this time of day. Here, the people wore finer looking clothes than the merchants and workers in the market district. People looked over at your strange group, whispering as you walked past. Even the guards here looked better equipped than the ones you saw around the market and docks; many of them had armor and weapons similar to Shor, but in much better condition. There were even some guards who may be mages by the way they dressed and their equipment. Soon the party would reach the Temple of the Maker. Though temple was putting it lightly; this place looked more like a whole college campus than just a single building. Multiple huge institutes were spawn about, with various men and women, mostly human or elven, were walking around, studying things, or practicing magic. And not just simply spells either: you could see men and women working on rituals summoning giant balls of fire, or manipulating what you could only assume to be a golem made of rune stones. There was even a few people flying through the air. It was here that the group was stopped by sentries who began to speak to Shor. Shortfang just gawked at the scene, sitting on top of Buddy's head to try and get a look at everything. Even Buddy seemed to be mesmerized by everything around him. Dinah had followed you quietly but seemed to have found herself in the company of other cat-like familiars, some looking demonic, others fey, and others who looked similar to her. However Pylia just looked forward with a very stony expression, her hand resting on the head of her club.
