The small black reptilian animal remained in it's sleep. Not the rain nor the thunder could awaken such an animal, they were known to sleep through most things. The bright light revealed the dark scale on the animal. But something made it wake up. The reptile looked up at the girl, stretching it's little body. It sat down and observed her, slightly wagging it's tail from left to right, right to left. It looked around the room again, before deciding to explore again. It started to make it's way closer to the her, and it started to sniff her. The black eyes looked up at the girl, looking like an innocent animal, at this time. The shopkeeper was devastated. It was thundering. He had been staring into the distance for hours. He had looked everywhere for the egg. But it was gone, gone with the wind. He slammed his head onto the table, cursing out gibberish. Anger was starting to overtake him, and his hand was glowing red. A dark spot was left on the table when he raised his hand again. "They'll kill me. Bury me alive, burn me, or maybe just kill me off if I'm lucky." he muttered to himself. A friend had been keeping him company the latest hours, a friend by the name of whiskey. The bottle was almost empty as the shopkeeper took another swig. "I'll find you. Find you and make a nice omelet out of you, dragon."
