[indent]The Haruna clan made their presence by being the healers of their village. Should their brethren sustain injury, the members of the Haruna clan were the people that ensured the best possible outcome. Eventually, word of their abilities got around and the Haruna clan had to take up arms in order to defend themselves against those who would ask of unfavorable tasks and continually harass them in times of need. [indent]During the introduction of Ninshu, the Haruna clan had decided to support Asura in his path and journey. The Haruna clan immediately offered their services upon learning of his journey, and in return Asura had decided to teach them an arsenal of ninjutsu, including medical jutsu which would assist their endeavors greatly.

Because of their ability to use ninjutsu, the Haruna clan quickly gained power and favor with the people of the Land of the Leaf, and soon established themselves as one of the presiding clans over what was eventually named Konoha. [/indent][/indent]
