History (Age of Gods): Berserker was once an orphan who was taken in by a humble peasant and his goddess consort. One day Berserker and his father arrived in the kingdom of Phrygia on their ox-cart and Berserker was hailed as a king of prophecy who would restore order to the realm. His father founded a new city on the spot and father and son offered their ox-cart to the god Zeus for their good fortune. While on the throne he married Damodice, the daughter of Agamemnon of Cyme, who invented is credited with inventing the first coined money. Berserker became fixated with wealth and upon showing hospitality to a servant of Dionysus he received the gift of the golden touch. Anything he touched would turn to solid gold. Berserker initially revelled in this gift but quickly fell to despair when he turned his beloved daughter into a statue. He renounced his gift and washed it away in the rivers of Patroclus and lived the rest of his days as a peasant king. Renouncing his former god, Berserker became a worshipper of Pan and lived in the country where he tutored under the musician Orpheus. After judging a musical contest between the gods Pan and Apollo he was cursed with the ears of a donkey, a secret Berserker kept from everyone except his barber. His barber could not bear to keep this embarrassing fact to himself and so he told his secret to the earth. From the earth sprang forth reeds that spoke of Berserker's shame and thus he killed himself by drinking the blood of an ox. Parameters Strength:B (A) Endurance:A (A+) Agility:C (B) Mana:D (C) Luck:C- Noble Phantasm:A+ Class Skills Madness Enhancement (D):The class skill that characterizes the Berserker, raising basic parameters and strengthens one's physical abilities in exchange of hindering mental capacities or their sense of reason. At this rank, STR and END parameters are increased but language is limited and continuing complex thoughts over a long period of time is difficult. Personal Skills Golden Rule (A-):A skill that measures ones fortune to acquire wealth. He was once a peasant boy who became a rich king and married the woman who invented coined money. As king he had a fixation with wealth which eventually lead to him being cursed by Dionysus. Normally he would have a rank of A as his NP could turn his surroundings into gold, however he receives a '-' modifier because after being freed from his curse he became a peasant king and renounced his wealth and splendor. Affection of the God (B):A skill that normally denotes being loved my a male god, in this case the Greek God of Revelry, Dionysus. Upon treating a servant of Dionysus with hospitality he was 'gifted' with a golden touch. Berserker enjoyed momentary pleasure before succumbing to grief and prayed to his patron to remove the blessing. As such he was technically blessed twice by the same god. He can receive a temporary rank-up to AGI when partaking in activities of revelry, whether they be eating, drinking or playing music. Harp of Healing (C):A skill that gives the user the ability to exorcise evil spirits and heal others by playing a melody with a harp. After renouncing his wealth he moved to the countryside and was tutored by the great musician and poet Orpheus. From him he learned to play the lyre and judged a musical contest between gods. Using this skill Berserker can summon a golden lyre to play. As a Berserker he lacks the motor skills to fully use this skill but he can still produce notes that distract him from his hunger and cause enemies to lose their willingness to fight. Berserkers songs are bassy and can cause damage to hearing if the right precautions aren't taken. Philosophy of the Satyr (C):A skill denoting a philosophy imparted by a servant of the god Dionysus. It is a philosophy that declares the condition of being dead as preferable to being alive. It is the idea that one was better off not born at all, and next to that, that one should die as soon as possible. Berserker did not practice this philosophy throughout his entire life but still possesses a low rank in it due to embracing it at pivotal moments in his personal history. This skill is derived from a conversation between Midas and the satyr Silenus. The satyr questioned the king on what he thought was most the desirable thing to humankind. When a satisfactory answer was not produced Berserker was taught this philosophy. When confronted with imminent death Berserker will charge headlong into danger, embracing this philosophy. Enemy disengage skills become less effective as well as enemy instant death effects since Berserker is already 'dead' on the inside and the chances for mutually assured destruction becomes a likely probability. Noble Phantasms
Title: Shortsighted Blessing of the Wine God Type: Anti-Unit Rank: B Range: 1-2 Max. Number of Targets: 1 Upon showing his servant hospitality the god of revelry Dionysus answered Berserker's prayers and granted him the ability to turn anything he touched into solid gold. At first Berserker liberally used his newfound gift to amass great riches. However, upon turning his garden roses to gold his cherished daughter pointed out the error of his wish. In turning everything to gold he robbed those things of their intrinsic value. The roses in his garden no longer had soft petals or sweet fragrances. The food at his table was reduced to mere hunks of shiny metal, inedible. Instinctively he comforted his daughter and in doing so afflicted the curse upon her, leaving Berserker starving and grief stricken. This is a continuously active-type NP that cannot be turned off. Berserker is incapable of eating or drinking on his own. Upon either of his hands making contact with a surface, object, creature, person or Servant, that object will have all of its qualities removed and replaced with "gold". This area affects a half-foot radius around the point of contact. Prolonged contact will cause the effect to spread throughout the target's body, progressing at a rate of half an inch per second. Any enchantments or other magical qualities will be lost and replaced with the qualities of gold, though with great strain magic circuits can be used to halt the spread. If 80% of a Mystic Code's surface is converted it will be rendered inert and unuseable. Same thing goes for familiars. Noble Phantasms and Servants not already rendered in gold are able to resist this effect, the conversion to gold limited to this NP's base half-foot radius. NPs cannot be left inert unless the entirety of their foundation is turned into gold, however partial inertness can be parted onto NPs in proportion to how how often Berserker has been in contact with them. The same is true for Servants. Effects of the curse can be removed by dragging afflicted objects through a river, though this requires knowledge of Berserker's legend.

Title: Knot of Gordias' Knowledge Type: Anti-Army Rank: A+ Range: 1-25 Max. Number of Targets: 50 After seeing his son declared king, Berserker's father devised an intricate knot to tie onto their ox-cart. This was a tribute to the god Zeus for their good fortune and granted any beast of burden tied to the cart a fraction of the might of Zeus. It was from one of these divine bulls that Berserker harvested the blood for his suicide, temporarily receiving the might of Zeus before shaking his mortal coil. This NP manifests as a golden wine skin that contains the blood of a divine bull. It is the only food that Berserker can feed to himself as its vessel is gold and the blood inside has a golden hue due to its divine nature. Once imbibed Berserker's hunger pangs disappear for a 5 minutes and he receives a temporary rank-up to all parameters except Luck. In addition his attacks become enhanced with the might of Zeus. Massive bolts of divine lightning arc off his body. The effects of this NP act as a stronger version of Mana Burst (Lightning) as all of his physical attacks are empowered with divine lightning. Each lightning strike generates the amount of magical energy a Saber or Lancer would use in an attack that utilized every ounce of their strength. This boost last 2 minutes. The blood poisons Berserker's body and after 2 minutes Berserker will become vulnerable. Continued combat will put further strain on his body increasing the chances of death. The wine skin has enough for three drinks and after the effects of the third drink Berserker's death is guaranteed. The wine skin can be given to masters and servants. The blood is too toxic for masters to drink and will result in their immediate death. Other servants that drink will receive all of the effects for 2 minutes and then have to make a high Luck check or die on the spot. Servants with a rank B or higher in Divinity will autopass this check as a high percentage of divine blood is present in their veins.
