For Kashin, It is kept below rank A due to the fact he doesn't want to his side of 'humanity' despite these modifications on him.

In General, Kashin hasn't had the capacity to become a famous shinobi. Altho, He sure acts and fights like one. Being at B rank means he didn't apply himself from any school nor the teaching of their sacred creed. He was kinda self-taught in a way and has a natural talent for the arts.

[b]Mechanical Illusion Art C++ [/b]- Techniques that utilize karakuri with genjutsu working as the core of these techniques. It is possible to apply these to many activities, such as infiltration, spying, combat, and so on. 

He has been proficient in tricking others with the use of his magic as an illusionist, the same way a ninja's use their ninjitsu in bewildering and swindling others to make a quick buck or luring the enemy into a false sense of security.  One of his notable traits in exhibiting this skill is swindling the great Demon King himself. Koji sold a priceless painting to the warlord, a lively definitive picture of hell that fancied Nobunaga's taste. 

As the day past, its quality deteriorates than its original. Koji got arrested of course. Instead of being executed for his crimes. The warlord seems to be impressed rather than mad at the mischievous trickster that he decides to let him go.

Flooding the corridors with gushing water. 
It was nothing more a powerful Genjutsu Koji utilize to make his great escape. 

Koji's little trick is somewhat to be considered as a Great Magecraft falsely similar to a Reality Marble – an otherworld that embodies one’s own imagined landscape, created by temporarily overwriting the current World. To Kashin, it is the recreation of a sudden torrent he released upon the towering Nobunaga household, sweeping away the wooden platforms, guests and Shoguns alike -- A horrible prank really.

It attacks the mind and anyone who is affected by this Noble Phantasm will suffer the dreaded sensation of 'drowning'. As if they where plunge in deep this maelstrom of this make-believe tide, impeding their natural movement due to the illusion of being submerged underwater. 

The perception of 'drowning' turns fatal to those who have not been fortunate enough to see past this illusion and to those who have lower Magic resist. Possible enough for the trickster Koji to make them commit suicide through suffocation.
