NAME: Khepri Betsalel AGE: 16 BACKGROUND: Betsalel, to be in shadows; a place where Khepri found great comfort. A chosen name in place of one she once knew, but had long since forgotten. Lost to time, much like the face of the young, servant girl who had given birth to her. Death and disease had taken her mother away, though, not time. The shantytowns of Photep, where Khepri grew up, are forever seared onto her heart. They gave her everything she wanted, but only because their streets taught her how to steal. Taught her that you do whatever you must to survive. Even if that means you must attempt to steal from Sorcerers. Where a failed attempt would normally mean your life, this failed(barely) attempt was a second chance. A once in a lifetime offer of a brand new, undoubtedly better, life. The only catch? She would have to attend school and make something of herself. Khepri gladly accepted. PERSONALITY: Khepri is a troublemaker wearing the mask of a proper, young lady. Many call her difficult, most just consider her too headstrong and outspoken for her own good. Despite these...shortcomings, the young woman has a good heart that is overflowing with her love of magic. Other than magic, art is her life's greatest passion. APTITUDE: From a very young age, it was clear to those around her that she was a gifted Telepath. Not quite a prodigy, but gifted nonetheless. As there always are, there were stories. Stories of a young Khepri creating illusions to help her steal bread, occasionally answering unspoken questions, and other things of the sort. As she has grown, so has her ability to control her magic. Though, there is always room for growth. TUTELARY: A small, formless creature with no eyes and no mouth. Appears to be made of an ink like substance. When it was first summoned, it was about the size of a coconut. She calls it Gob. Gob appears to be very attached to Khepri, while shying away from others. [s][hink of it as an inky black, faceless, and much smaller Grimer.
