Somewhere to its south east across the hilly dry plains lies the Elven forest Il’luvia, but no roads lead there. An old dirt path does cut west over the river through the town and up north easterly towards the citadel. It’s a road rarely trodden. Ruthgarr is a simple place. A place between many places. Small and homely, for nothing really exciting ever happens here. It’s not even a place people travel through, not anymore, not for a long time. Generations have been born and died here. Here in the town of ones. One church, one tavern, one cemetery, one lord, one watchtower, one smith. ect. It is however filled with honest and hardworking people. They are trusting and open. A mottled lot from all races and backgrounds. Around 300 hundred to be exact, maybe 301 now with Lord Dargen’s latest daughter. Lord Dargen is the only man permitted to use magic in the town under the law of the latest king, but no one enforces it. Not all the way out here. While there still exists the free states that refuse his rule, Ruthgarr is not one of them, it is simply too small and too far away to be watched over closely. So once a year they pay their pitance and for the rest of it they keep to themselves. But... this little nothing town is about to get caught up in one of the biggest catastrophic events to ever touch the land. How will your three young characters influence the coming events? How will these inexperienced and different individuals alter and change the paths of fate. The game will start exactly three days before your journey to the northern mountains, to the dragons spire. An honoured pilgrimage undertaken by a child on his name day who considers themselves ready to be viewed as an adult. You are of the age and have trained enough that this should be your last visit, but that is not up to you, it’s a decision that can only be made by the red seer.
