I usually treat both sides equally unless circumstances require me not it. Like the individual's mood, personality, etc.

I never understood why guys disliked female gamers so much. It's quite common now but still they get backlash for it. I'm a female gamer as well, granted just things like RPG's, hack and slash, and platforms. 

Now, I can understand the girls who play simply to get attention and not be a real gamer. But both genders do that so meh.

But the stereotype is either video games are not for girls except girly Barbie games, or girls suck at them.
