(stomps in) hello

Oliver Clive

No matter what kind of disaster happens to the world... they'll still be here. [sub]Name[/sub]
Oliver Clive [sub]Age[/sub]
15 [sub]Gender[/sub]
Male [sub]Appearance[/sub]
Oliver is smaller than most, with messy brown hair wrangled in by an old beanie he sloppily throws on anytime a visit to the outside world is necessary. A pair of wiry light gray glasses is set in front of his lime green eyes, both contrasting with the tan brown color of his skin. He wears what many would consider "mom jeans" a couple of sizes too big for his thin body. Oliver has a rotating wardrobe of turtlenecks and sweaters that he layers with a polo shirt underneath. He does the bare minimum when it comes to maintaining his appearance and it shows. [sub]Personality[/sub]
Oliver is a fidgety and nervous teenage boy with a great passion for insects. He tends to spend his days huddled up in his room tending to his various specimens. He is outspoken about his worries and has a bitter side to him that shows up frequently, often when others express disgust at insects or blow off his concerns. Oliver treats the world outside of his room as if it were an alien planet and is overly worried about safety. He is adamant in his belief that insects hold the key to survival. To him they're a food source packed with nutrition, a source of medicines and poisons, and what humanity needs to embrace if they want to further spread out. Most people don't care too much about his rambling. And because of that, he believes that most people are wrong. [sub]Background[/sub]
Oliver wasn´t always an only child. After a tragic incident that happened while he was nearly too young to remember, his older sister was fatally wounded by a dinosaur after venturing too far out into the wilderness. His parents' happy view of the town they'd spent their whole lives in changed overnight after the loss of their first child. Ever since then, they've been overly protective of him and are glad that he's chosen such a quiet path in life. They provide him with whatever supplies he wants for insect care, relieved at his passion taking place primarily indoors. Their house is small and unkempt, as Oliver likes to hoard things in his room and his parents are too busy with work to clean. [sub]Miscellaneous[/sub]
-Since he spends most of his free time indoors, not a lot of people know him. When he does venture outside, it's usually to collect specimens or visit the library. Because of this the people that are familiar with Oliver tend to regard him as an oddball.
