A rather short one at that. As expected, it took Yagra only a second or two to get the upper hand despite receiving the first blow. Even with most of the crowd having been in his way, he could tell from the reactions and the changes in the faces of the aggressor's entourage that the half-orc was doing what she did best; winning. Within the span of a few short breaths, it was over. Two more men had stepped in to intervene but by then, the five of them had already begun their scramble toward the door in a hasty retreat. They were gone just as suddenly as they had arrived. Now, while the rest of the tavern slowly returned to themselves, Yagra and her two 'rescuers' were busy conversing. The two men were as yet unknown to the Tabaxi. One was human and dappled in a lush green, a green that was drowned in the warmer ambiance flooding the tavern though the volume on their person was pushing back. Green hair. Green cloak. Leaves feathering around his shoulders and chest and bits of twigs protruding chaotic. Standing next to him was an ashen kissed Tiefling. A tiefling as far as he could tell. The horns protruding from their forehead were the most obvious signs and would have been the end of his musings but when he really thought bout it, he couldn't recall ever seeing one of their race born of such coloration. There weren't any in the stories he could recount nor any in the stories he had told. Not only that but most weren't inclined to jump to the aid of others so quickly and with such force, unless of course they were previously acquainted with Yagra. Regrettably, there was more sense in that than Mist was willing to admit. He rather liked mysteries. It was, however, becoming increasingly apparent that he wasn't as well traveled as he had thought. In the span of a couple minutes, he'd witnessed three very different individuals pulling at his interest. A half naked tree-man. A devil who had forgotten to color himself in. A rather timid woman who'd accidentally wandered into the wrong... Mist bent over again, peering under the table into the dark to find the girl now on all fours. Her eyes cut past him toward the rest of the tavern. He tapped a talon against the wood of the floor to draw her attention once more, musing over the words she'd said earlier. A bubble in his throat turned into a kind of vibration that was barely audible... until it rumbled into something akin to a chuckle. He smiled. "Thiiiis is the wrrrong place to avoid...fiiire." He began. "It'ss everrrywhere. The drrinks. The men. The wooomen. Fiire is in the air..." His nostrils flared as he breathed, his lungs tasting burning wick. Sweat. The human woman in front of him. "...but surrrely you knew this and yet... here you arrre... all the saaame." ...what is so important that you would throw yourself into fire... He held out his hand, beckoning for her to take it. "You are quite brrrave so I don't have to assurrre you that the danger haaaas passed. You won't get burrned."
