In Brooklyn, nestled on the corner of two streets is a quaint little bookshop. Most people don't give this bookstore a second glance, but a select few know this bookstore has a secret. 
The bookstore is a gateway to a school for those with Arcane Tendencies. Brokmarts, Academy Of Spells is the premier institute for magical learning in North America, and even, arguably the Northern Hemisphere.

Now, given its high standing in the magical community, not just anyone can attend. Fight you must receive an offer. Offers are granted based on magical talent and may appear in any number of forms. Whether it be a pamphlet for the bookshop blowing down the street and hitting you in the face, to receiving a posted letter or email. An offer will not always be obvious, but will always lead you to the bookshop. 
Once in the bookshop, you will be shown the entrance to Brokmarts. 
Once inside, you will have to complete an entrance exam, to show you are the type of student they want. Things tested in the entrance exam are as follows:

Your scores in the above categories are averaged, and if a passing grade is achieved, you will be accepted into the Brokmarts Graduate Program. 
Once accepted, you will be tested to determine your discipline. Your Discipline will determine where your dorm will be, and what classes you will take. Think of it similar to a major, but it also includes your accommodation. Your discipline isn't be-all and end-all. You can still learn skills from other disciplines, but they will be much less than your base discipline. 
Disciplines are as follows.

[*] [b]Healing[/b] - Aptitude for magical healing
[*] [b]Psychic[/b] - Magical abilities concerning psychic energies [/list]
