If I can make Bumba, the Kingdom the way it is, one without suffering and pain, a land of dreams then I can make this city and many others like it the same. My dream has never changed, I wish to show the World what I can do and be its benevolent Master!” An ambitious young lad who seems to be driven on the aspect of dreams, honor and moral correctness, where even doing good deeds deserves a reward far larger than its own. Jangar here is too trusting but he isn’t naive, he knows when to be cautious and knows when to be suspicious. After all, his father made the mistake of dropping his guard with Goijin’s army at the horizon and he wishes not to make the same mistake. He is a hard-worker, an iron-willed Hero who won’t even let the slightest hint of despair get the best of him, even if the odds are near zero, it is never zero and that’s the only thing he counts on. Of course, this would make him come off as a stubborn person, which he is. History: “What was the first thing I knew about life? None. I was only told to earn my keep, do good and be honorable. That’s what I’ve been doing all these years trapped in the already perfect Kingdom of Bumba.” On that day. A benevolent King and her wife gave birth to a red mass, a mass trapped and encased the future king of Bumba. A child cried out for freedom and his father answered, his could never receive his life of luxury, he would only earn it the moment Bumba was invaded by the Devil Goijin and his horde of Ten Thousand, forcing him to be driven away to safety with a spear, a piece of white jade in his mouth and a house servant to keep watch of him. As a toddler, he didn’t know this was happening, only fire, flames, screams and unholy roars came from the city below before he knew it, all he could do was sleep so it could go away. Taken to Big Black Mountain, the Servant returned home in an attempt to gain vengeance but unfortunately died by Goijin’s hand. The little prince was left alone for a time, depending on the Jade in his mouth for survival and when he grew bored of it, he whined and cried, attracting a hunter. This hunter took care of him in secret, gave him a name “Jangar” and wondered what his wish would be for a boy abandoned and left underneath a mountain. “Well that’s obvious. I want to show the World what I’m made of!” A fine answer, an answer that would have made him adopt the young boy… however, he didn’t want Jangar to come to his home, not while his own son was around. This hunter came everyday to give Jangar some food and water for months on end until eventually… the supplies stopped coming. Curious, the lost Prince left his safe haven and roared throughout the mountainside, a cry or a call for help. No one came, not even the hunter… however several animals appeared before him, their faces sporting pitying looks and unlike the humans before him, took care of the child as their own. The she-wolves suckled him, and deer brought him fruit. He learned to roar from a tiger, to hunt from an eagle, and to run from an antelope. One day an old man appeared while Jangar was sitting under a tree. “You seem to be awfully calm today, boy.” “You’re the first Man I’ve seen in a couple of years.” The man had a nice chat with Jangar eventually telling him about the Kingdom of Bumba and how it was controlled by a demonic horde. The young boy asked what it had to do with him before revealing that he was the prince, the final hope for this Kingdom. Of course the child didn’t believe it at first but upon showing it with a crystal orb, he saw everything, what happened to his parents and what happened to the Servant who protected him. Coming to terms with this revelation, the old man offered to train him and the young boy agreed. As soon as he had gotten a basic understanding of each lesson offered by the man, he woke up—it was morning, and it had all been a dream. Nonetheless, he felt strong, and discovered that he could uproot a tree and smash a camel-sized rock with it. The boy whistled for his steed, Aranjagaan and rode for Bumba with his newfound strength, killing and destroying three strongholds before fighting the Devil Goijin, who turned out to be a Manguss, an ogre from Mongolian Myth. With a single thrust from the Aram Spear, Goijin disappears, his body purified from evil and the young boy climbed from the roof of the palace, calling out to his people that he has once again claimed his right as Khan of Bumba. Unfortunately, that did not sit well with other kingdoms, a young child upstart ruling an entire kingdom? And with no family to vouch for him, he was nothing more than a Rogue King in the eyes of the other Mongolian Khans. Of course each challenge comes with its struggles, none facing Jangar as he walked onward. Jangar with the help of his loyal and brave warrior friends successfully defended the kingdom from all terrible enemies. His closest assistant and the wisest adviser was Minian the Beautiful. Jangar had 6012 great warriors. The right wing of his army was led by Altantseej who knows what happened in the last 99 years and what will happen in the next 99 years, while the left wing was commanded by the wrestler Mungun Shigshreg’s son Khongor. Parameters: Rank B+ Strength Rank A Endurance Rank B Agility Rank C Mana Rank B Luck Class Skills: Rank B Magic Resistance - Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected. Personal Skills: Rank A Bokh - Mongolian wrestling, as one would call it, although this was derived from an earlier wrestling martial art where it consists of nomads wrestling with herd and hunting livestock, it was still used in ancient Mongolia during duels whether it was a mounted duel or not. As a child, Jangar had trained with wild animals both prey and predator as a means to test his strength and acquire a technique, he'd have come to blows with some Phantasmal Beasts in the process and come out victorious. Rank A Interspecies Charisma - As a lost child safeguarded by the caves and wildlife away from his home country which was under the control of Goijing at the time. Jangar befriended several animals and even Phantasmal Beasts on rare occasions and understood them granting them a rank up to certain parameters. On the plus side, this can also work with other heroes in a similar way to a Rank A Charisma. Rank B Glam Sight - An ability which enables him to easily perceive and adapt to any information that can't be normally processed by the brain (e.g. high-speed movements). Rank A Natural Body - For a child, Jangar was able to do the feats one would consider unnatural or inhuman but because of this blessed strength he was able to defeat Goijin and his hordes, destroying strongholds and reclaiming his Kingdom after his strength-filled blow. Jangar has an additional modifier to his STR. Furthermore, even without training, he still retains his own well-toned body No matter how many calories he ingests, his body shape will not change. Noble Phantasms Name: Aram Spear: Chötgör Aluurchin Owner: Jangar Type: Anti-Unit, Anti-Evil Rank: B Range: 1~5 Maximum Number of Targets: 1 Description: Translated to Aram Spear: Devil Slayer. It is the spear held by young Jangar as a farewell gift from his family before they were cut down by Goijin and his demon hordes. Child Jangar had since held onto this spear to defend himself and to use it as a weapon for hunting. The spear holds sway against the forces of evil and especially against demons who are known for the very concept. Like a certain Child of Light, this spear aims for the heart, once struck by the blade of this spear, it purifies the body until nothing remains. While this effect does nothing to other Heroes, it is assured the effect still remains when striking Servants of the Evil Alignment or Anti-Heroes. Of course, simply revealing the spear would give off a sense of dread to any Servant with the Evil Alignment, a hint to revealing who he really is. By pouring mana into the spear, Jangar launches himself towards his enemy and goes for the killing thrust aimed at his chest with a power that could induce shockwaves around him and his intended target before pulling away.
Name: White Jade: Great Fairy’s Blessing on This Wonderful Stone Owner: Jangar Type: Anti-Unit (Self) Rank: C Range: - Maximum Number of Targets: 1 Description: The stone he bit down when he was a child to keep him from hunger, thirst and from danger. It is said that the White Jade had enhanced healing properties and could bring good fortune to anyone wielding such a peculiar stone. One could say it is similar to a Support Mystic Code wherein this particular stone has a Noble Phantasm of its own as it played a long term role in the Epic of Jangar. Whosoever holds onto the stone in any way will have their healing factor enhanced significantly, have a rank up to their luck and have resistance to Mental Interference.
