She possesses chest-length, dark brown hair and pear-grean eyes, which seems normal enough, but she also dresses rather boyishly; much to the chagrin of her parents. She loves wearing hoodies, baggy jeans or trackpants, combat boots, and her signature flat-bill snapback. She’s rather adamant on not wearing bows, dresses, or skirts. Despite being a rather laidback girl, she will vehemently inform you of how much she doesn’t care that you ‘think she would look prettier in a dress’. Inside Pariah Online though, Nicoleta gets to be even more like how she dresses. She takes on the form of a boy about her age, though a bit taller, standing at 5’10”. Her green eyes and brown hair transfer over to her Avatar, though the latter has a slight rosier tinge. Her new frame is more athletic and muscled than she is, but still is noticeably agile, allowing her a measure of comfort in the new skin - something she emphasizes by only wearing medium armor. Dark blue is one of if not her favorite color, and that color palette also transfers into her clothing in-game. She enjoys making an effort to reskin gear in order to make them as badass as possible.
[sub]Personality[/sub]
When Nico was younger her parents had always tried to make sure she was a respectable lady, taking mind to her manners and behaviors in order to please people who she only knew as strangers. However, the girl didn’t take well to the teachings -- she was her own person. She’s very laidback, not worrying about strict mannerisms or social subtlety. In fact, she sometimes goes out of her way just to spite her parents for fun, throwing her feet up on the table or burping out loud after drinking a soda. Despite having a nature that her parents call ‘lazy’, she is actually quite the opposite when she finds something she thinks is worth the effort. Certain subjects and projects she can work through pretty fluently, as long as it’s fun to her; she can be either a rather slow learner, or a very fast one, depending on the task at hand. Outside of Pariah Online, Nicoleta’s behavior seems rather boyish for a girl -- but in the game, it can actually seem the opposite; despite now being a boy, he still possesses a girlish energy.
[sub]Background[/sub]
Nicoleta’s life in Bucharest, Romania up to this point has been a somewhat normal one, if a little troubled at times. Even from a young age she’d always seemed boyish in her interests, preferring action figures over dolls and shorts over dresses. This meant she was often subject to periods of disciplining by her more traditionally-minded parents. She wouldn’t be allowed to play with cars, or go on the internet or play videogames - they were for boys, her parents said. She hadn’t been allowed to do what she thought was fun. As a result, the girl developed somewhat of an apathy and even a mild hatred towards the girlish things that were forced upon her by her parents. This even extended to hobbies and subjects in school - things she didn’t find any particular interest in, she was simply horrible at - it annoyed her to even try them. Despite all the disciplining though, it still seemed that Nicoleta was affixed to her nature, and her parents were eventually forced to give in. They didn’t like it, but they tolerated it. Begrudgingly. Finally she was free to do what she wanted without constant badgering. When she heard about a new gaming experience announced called ‘Pariah Online’, she couldn’t pass up the chance to get it, even if her parents wouldn’t be helping her buy it. She’d been saving up money from her job at a local bookstore, and saved up even more until she finally had enough to afford the hardware to play a videogame - something she’d been starved of for a long time. She’s been with Pariah now since its launch, becoming just a little obsessed, and playing it almost everyday. Of course, she wouldn't admit to being obsessed - it’s only fair that she catch up on some of the fun she missed out on for those years.
[sub]Reputation[/sub]
”Mercenary King” Nico is a name that may be relatively known amongst the wayfarers - well, at least the dungeoneering ones. Not due to any measure of great power, but rather because he makes it known to most he meets, even if he does so in...weird, “mysterious” ways; hand-made flyers, rumors he spreads of himself, and even gimmicky fortune cookies he hopes you don’t throw away without reading. He bolsters a mysterious exotic-weapon-user visage by not revealing his identity and disappearing as quickly as he arrives, just long enough to receive payment for his services; all the while shrouding his face in a dark blue hood. Not all of his reputation (all being a hazy recognition of his ‘title’ to most) is due to his theatrics though, as those who hire him find his services rather useful. The nature of his combat style not only helps open up opponents’ guard for his allies, but it also looks rather flashy with all the twirling of the chain - but he assures that it’s all necessary to the technique.

Attribues & Additional Information

[sub]Role[/sub]
Specialist - The Specialist is a more ‘technical’ role accustomed to swapping playstyles, juggling usually-offensive utility and guard-breaking potential.
[sub]Affiliation[/sub]
Sikth
[sub]Profession[/sub]
Mercenary
[sub]Weapon of Choice[/sub]
Kusari-taron - A weapon much similar to the Kusarigama or the Kusari-fundo, except one end ends in a sharp-taloned claw with prehensile digits.
[sub]Domain(s)[/sub]
Abjuration Enhancement
[sub]Benchmarks (Physical)[/sub]
[Weapon Manipulator]: Nico has grown capable of using his limited range of favored weapons in the way that best suits him, both through rigorous training and magical intuition. He finds unwieldy or difficult-to-use weapons to be more comfortable to him than others would, and can utilize them with more accuracy and efficiency. [Adaptive Combatant]: Nico values adapting quickly in a battle, trying to take advantage of short openings and missteps of his opponents. This feature of his style is emphasized by his split defensive abilities; while he wears medium armor to allow for some hits to be taken, he also retains enough agility to dodge effectively, usually. Ironically, the Specialist doesn’t specialize in one type of armor, and can wear more or less armor if they deem it necessary. [Precision Fighter]: Despite being rather adaptable, Nico’s main combat style focuses on precise and accurate deadly strikes. As a result, he is well accustomed to taking on opponents than rival or even surpass him in physical - or more rarely, magical - power. Unfortunately, this leaves him far more vulnerable than others are when facing multiple sources of attack. His Kusari-Taron is a weapon more specialized for dueling, and he has little means of defense against AoE spells or barrage attacks. [Exotic Savant]: While Nico is a fast learner of weapons he deems ‘badass’, he is completely inept with gear and tools with which he is unfamiliar. This is true to such an extent than he can’t even wield a basic sword properly, and is far more clumsy than even the most untrained of individuals.
[sub]Benchmarks (Mental)[/sub]
[Specialized Enchanter]: While Nico does occasionally use his Enchantment magic on himself or rarely even others, the vast majority of the time he uses it when forging weapons or other gear. He isn’t as quick with enchanting magic as some others are, taking measurably longer, but in exchange he takes distinct care in stacking many enchantments to try maximizing the potential of a weapon. [Blacksmithing - Exotic-specific]: Nico tried blacksmithing shortly after entering Pariah Online. And it did not go well. After a couple months of weapon-fantasizing though, he eventually tried again, using his recent job for a more advanced blacksmith as a bartering tool for some training. He soon found he had a penchant for designing and forging his own derivative designs of other weapons. He has actually become quite proficient at forming exotic weapons - as shown by his very adaptable Kusari-Taron that he made himself by reforging a rarer weapon. [Trained Guile]: While some of Nico’s sly nature seems more comedic than effective, his hands and eyes are well-trained. He is pretty accustomed to spotting sleight-of-hand maneuvers and surprise attacks or ambushes, and he himself employs these tactics, which often puts him in the mindset of searching for them within his environment. [Exotic, even for exotic]: Nico combines his magics alongside his unique penchant for unusual equipment and weapons - something that is hard to pick apart for his opponents, and may seem rather intimidating or distracting. However, despite how many unique enchantments and styles he learns, he takes care to remember all of them and be prepared to use them on short notice. Entailed are his owned gears, whether on his person or not, and their magical enhancements.
Kusari-Taron - Nico’s favored weapon, this piece of equipment is enhanced with Abjuration properties; able to ‘catch’ certain spells in its claws, or cut through magical defenses. It also possesses improved entangling properties, granting the wielder greater leverage even against opponents stronger than them. King’s Scythe - A large, unwieldy scythe. Not exactly a great weapon in real life, this weapon sees good use in Nico’s hands, and is his go-to weapon for very large dungeon monsters. Enchanted to have a weight that alters based on the wielder’s need, and to conform to the elemental weaknesses of any Boss it tastes the blood of, this weapon can result in devastating cutting and piercing strikes if given enough room.
[Tuck Away]: Nico is able of banishing up to two objects to a dimension within his mind, and withdraw them just as quickly. He must be the only one making contact with the object, and he is the only person who can access the dimension.
