A former A tier hero that now works as the owner of the Lucky Pub, Giles Bovino was a highly successful crimefighter under the name "The Great Elastic-O." After a long career in the hero business, Giles Bovino chose to retire and go into a career in bar-owning instead of moving into the pencil-pushing division of HERO, a decision he never regretted, as his pub, the Lucky Cow, grew to become a highly-successful venture that welcomes all powered-individuals from all paths of life as patrons. Giles Bovino was a former mentor of Hugo Powers when he was still a street hero, and the two have great mutual respect for each other, which explains why Bovino rarely bans heroes from his pub, no matter how severe of an infraction they've committed. 

Though an old man now, Giles Bovino is still a powerful individual that is not to be messed with.
