"My sword and my ideals are the same blade," Euna quotes right back, "They only cut away that which is evil." She tries her best to smile when she offers her hand to help Sasha back onto her feet, but she blows it. The tears won't stop building in her eyes and her entire face is screwing up in yet another burst dam of emotions: guilt and hurt and stress all pouring out of her while she waits. And waits. For her friend to take that hand. And then it happens. This is the first time, she realizes, that she's ever actually felt her friend's hand. She winds up yanking harder than is strictly necessary and yanks Sasha off the ground and right up off of her feet into a big, squeezing hug. "Don't ever make me do this again, ok? Not ever again! Victoria already took my job from me. My home. And my family. If she managed to steal my best friend too I would just..." All at once the sounds of battle come roaring back into her ears. Drones exploding. People screaming. Gunfire bursting over top of everything like a suffocating chorus of gunpowder and whistling bullets. Her shrunken world shatters around her as all the chaos, tension, and urgency come rushing back in to fill the void left behind by the duel. Euna wipes her face on her already very messy sleeve and drops right back into mission mode. She kicks up JuneBird's E-Mauler off the ground with absurd ease, snatches it up with one hand, and flips it around to offer it back to her oldest partner. "We'll do it like normal: I run cover and you take the kill shot, yeah? Come on, you and I already dropped one Turbo Knight. Let's save AEGIS from the new one."
