Zane's actual body shifts regularly due to his powers, but his 'base' form is that of an eighteen year old, similar to how he looked before the incident where he recieved his powers. About 6'1" with decent musculature, with his hair forming a wild mane around his face. His entire body is pitch black, save for his eyes which glow with a purple hue. His casual wear consists of a pair of jeans and a purple t-shirt, more out of habit than anything else.

Considered the 'leader' of the Nova Force, both due to his calm nature and being considered an A Rank threat. He honestly detests how much stock people have in the tiers list, a C Rank like Patch could defeat an S rank in the right circumstances.
A scientist by nature and profession, he enjoys taking apart the mysteries of the universe. His logical nature also applies to combat, preferring to end things quickly to avoid collateral damage. He possesses an unyielding hatred for heroes who have no mind for the city they are supposed to be protecting.

[b]Backstory[/b]
Zane was your ordinary high school student, admittedly an incredibly intelligent one, until he took an internship with Aurora Labs. His mentor, John Merci, was working on a generator that ran on Dark Matter. Unfortunately, due to a villain fight, the machine went wrong and bombarded the duo with dark matter. It should have killed them, but Merci had an energy absorption ability and Zane unknowingly had the power Adaption. His body converted itself into the Dark Matter to survive, though the process turned his power from adaption to Erebus. The energy Merci drained had overwhelmed him, shutting down the higher functions of his brain and turning him into a rampaging monster. Zane knew he had to stop him, even with this body he was unused to.

His debut as Shadow Spectre was bittersweet, as he was forced to fight his mentor to protect everyone else. Despite being a hero, he continued his studies and eventually graduated university with a PHD in Physics. He later formed Nova Labs with his comrades Percy 'Patch' Worke, Raphael Phobos, and Sam Moore; better known as the heroes Dreadnaut, Ragdoll, and Ion Knight. As they regularly work together, they have been dubbed as the team Nova Force, by the press.

[b]Power[/b]
[u]Erebus:[/u] Zane's body consists of Dark Matter, which he can shape at will. His body seems to be controlled by a purple core about the size of an apple, which is not as malleable as the rest of his body. He can also create shadow constructs to attack with.

Strong light can weaken him, though UV light seems to cancel that out.
As I don't want to create three new sheets for his comrades, I'll just list their powers here.[list]
[*] [u]Dreadnaut[/u] While technically powerless, he has converted 75% of his body into cybernetic parts. He pilots the Vulcan Mech, a 15ft tall behemoth that can lift up to 50 tons and comes equipped with non-lethal weaponry. Rank C.
[*] [u]Ragdoll[/u] Healing Strings, he can turn blood into super stem cells which can regenerate damage done. When used on himself it leaves stitch marks. Overusing his ability can lead to anemia. Rank C.
[*] [u]Ion Knight[/u] Generator, he is a moving fission reactor. Wears a suit to both stop radiation leaking out, as well as a powered exoskeleton for combat. Rank B.

I think it's a very solid character! I do have a few quick areas that I'd like you to elaborate on if you could. [list]
[*]Your personality could use a little more fleshing out, in particular in their interactions with others. Are they introverted or extroverted? Are they humble or conceited? Are they easygoing or strict? et cetera, et cetera. 
[*]If you could add the locations of the lab and stuff that would be cool. I think all that stuff wasn't out when you made this but if you could go back and add it it would be [i]epic[/i]
[*]What I really need some elaboration on is the shadow stuff. Are the shadows like a morphing substance, like a fluid, or is it more weightless, almost like an illusion? If you could also elaborate on how he fights using it that would be nice, because right now you just have listed the shadow clones stuff, which is cool but I doubt the only way he fights. Right now it's a [i]bit[/i] ambiguous, so just a little more description will make it nice and fleshed out.
