So [@Zelosse], who is an awesome friend, by the way, was willing to give up his spot to me, but I instead pitched the idea that I play as his Digimon. He thought it was a great idea, so I just want to make sure that the GMs are okay with it. He's also let me know that there is an implied need for water Digimon, so I am aware of this and intend to make my Digimon accordingly.
