It covers her from head to toe, and it’s rumoured that if ever it was managed to remove the armour her skin would most likely be an extreme pale, however there is no actual separation any more between her skin and the armour save for her head. The skin on her face is now pale, and her hair has also been bleached white. She weighs 155lbs, which is quite light considering the armour that she is made up of, which causes belief that some internal parts of her body may have been replaced or removed entirely as the armour takes over full support of her body. Blood Type AB+ Occupation Villain (ex-Hero) Side Villain (ex-Hero) Affiliation None (Previously affiliated with H.E.R.O) Tier B Personality Skylar used to be entirely one of the good-guys. She did things by the book, and was a cheerful and great person to be around. Now however, she is an uncaring, disconcerting and outright hostile individual to be around, with a disdain primarily toward Heroes caused by the Phantom program. She is willing to cooperate with other villains in order to accomplish her goals, which mostly revolve around the ambushing and dispatching of Heroes, however that doesn't make her easy to work with - Skylar is now somewhat mentally deranged, her former self seeming to just be locked away somewhere within her and replaced by something else entirely. Part of that effects her ability to hold back, and she often just wants to let loose, which can often just trod over her allies' plans if they don't prepare for the fact that she'll most likely do that. Sometimes, it isn’t clear whether it’s her speaking or the Phantom virus speaking for her. Backstory From the beginning of her life, Skylar knew that she wanted to be something that helped as a whole, rather than a mindless drone that sat at a desk and worked away to accomplish little for the large. Because of this, her goals fixated on either joining the military or joining the police; she settled on the latter as she preferred to help resolve problems on the streets and be actively involved in the process. She applied to join the police force before she had turned eighteen, and began training a day after her eighteenth birthday. Throughout her police career Skylar was a model officer, and was recommended for the assignment of more specialised training and equipment after her assistance in the capture of a D-Tier threat. With a leaning toward a more Hero-supporting role, Skylar was given training for the use of a GEN1MKII Advanced Combat Suit, the planned newer and greater generation of the clumsy and barely used MKI suit, which was to kept for emergency use if a high level threat was detected. She was fitted for the suit, and trained in the theory usage of the suit while it's manufacturing was put in place, a process that took little over two months. She still didn't get to actually use or see the suit until the third month of the training, after the theory exam was passed, and gave a little more time for the manufacturers to fine-tune the prototype. However, the problem occurred toward the end of the practical exam. Skylar would have passed the exam anyhow, but she created a new way of passing the exam; by the excruciating pain, uncontrollable screaming and spasms of her body caused by the suit almost melting itself into her, molding itself with her body to form not two beings but one. Nobody could tell why it had actually happened, but what they did know was that it had never happened before, and wasn’t happening after. It was a unique circumstance that left Skylar scarred by the memory alone. However, she forced it not to change the way that she was. She tried to focus on the benefits of now being the suit, the benefits that the producers of the suit said should not be happening at all. She was stronger and faster, and her inners were now a biometal that increased her overall durability. She did not to eat nor drink as much, among other benefits. It was a large, unusual change to her life. That change grew even more unusual and new to her when she joined H.E.R.O, in order to utilise these new abilities for the better. Within H.E.R.O, Skylar excelled in helping to ensure crime was kept off the streets and villains were contained. This, however, went downhill after a few years. She was dispatched alone to deal with a group of D-Tier thugs, which should have been a simple task. She quickly discovered that it was not the case however, and that the D-Tier thugs were just a ruse for an A-Tier villain, a trap made to lure in a Hero like herself to kill. Upon discovering what she was, the villain’s trap plan changed from killing to converting. She was immobilised and then worked on by the villain, who worked on her armour, touching and manipulating its computer and, in the process, her mind. The virus inserted into her computer overpowered her human brain and corrupted it. The Heroes that came to help after getting no communication from her found the thugs and the villain, but not in any arrestable state. A review of the room’s camera footage showed that Skylar was now very much corrupted. Power Biomechanical: Skylar is much stronger, faster and more durable than normal humans. The outer shell of her armour is strong, but it digs deep into her, making her inners itself a mixture of metal and flesh. She still has all of her senses, however she now has the ability to adjust or disable them if she needs to, such as disabling her smelling or hearing, or even her feeling of pain if she so deems it necessary, and can increase these as well. Though now resistant to gases, she still requires oxygen to operate, and is still able to be injected with chemicals through injection ports on the upper arms of her outer shell, both bad chemicals and good chemicals. The armour that Skylar is merged with also has many utilities of it’s own, such as weapons and equipment. A grapple hook, riot control gas and an enclosed gun in her arm is just a few of the utilities that it has to help any good officer contain a villain threat - or help a villain present themselves as a large threat. Her ‘body’ is able to repair itself through the consuming of metals, which her body is able to break down and transfer to what needs to be ‘healed’. She is able to do this by cutting down the metal into tiny or powder form and disabling her sense of taste. Well, the disabling of taste is not necessary, however it does make it a lot easier to bear doing. Skylar is also not alone. The Phantom virus speaks to her, acting as an artificial intelligence by the utilisation of her own, human brain as a carrier. The Phantom virus can help her to calculate, to plan and even to act if it so wishes. She works in tandem with it, for it's a part of her. Skylar has several weaknesses. The most obvious threat to her is an electro-magnetic pulse, something to knock out her electronic parts. She can still operate without power, however she won’t be able to utilise the full power of herself, such as the adjustment of her senses or some equipment such as her grappling hook. The armour’s computer is somewhat shielded from EMP, so Phantom will have a reduced effect on Skylar from the computer, and so will hijack more of her brain instead, which reduces her overall efficiency. Phantom itself is her largest weakness, because it’s what makes her truly evil. Removal of Phantom by any means will n̸͇͚̜̄ó̸̪t̶̥̑̐̔ ̵̖̲͎̓̽͋c̶̣͙̚ä̶̞̝̇̀ṵ̴̋s̷̩̉ẹ̷͓̅͜ ̵̡͕̬̉á̴̜̹̥̑n̵̡̽͊̄y̵̡̢͙͒̽ ̷̰͈̝̓̆̑ĕ̸̺̈́̐f̷̣͓̊́͗f̸͎̞͊e̵̦̦͒c̷̊͜͠t̵̼̝̍̀,̵̟͇̂ ̵͈̳̽͝a̷̜̩͊̽n̶̬̉̓ḑ̵̬͌ ̷̡̭̫̀̋i̴̱̺̳͊s̴̡̹̰̈͆ ̷̦̿ư̴̞̬͑s̶̲͍͐e̸͕͐l̶̬̮̅́͠e̸̦̖͊̒s̵̛̜͙̦͂̏ş̶̩̼̊ ̷͚̊a̷̘̘͛ͅn̸̳̐ḑ̴̗͑̋͘ ̵̢͖͕̀p̴̡̬͗o̴͇̯͋͒i̴͉͇̳͑͝n̷͚̹͓͐ṯ̵̞̏̚ľ̸̺̣͍e̴̤͔͊̓s̶̳̝͌̈s̸̫̓͐͠. She works to ensure that she is fit and slim, not wanting to fall into any kind of state where she doesn’t appreciate or maintain her own body properly. Jade has a height of 5’5, and a weight of 125lbs. Additionally, because of her power backfiring uncontrollably the first time she used it, she has a pair of large canine ears as well as a canine tail, both furred the same colour as her hair. Blood Type O+ Occupation Hero (Full time) Side Heroes Affiliation H.E.R.O Tier C+ Personality Jade is a calm individual that treats things playfully. She is a compassionate, kind young woman who places a lot of trust in her allies and in her friends. Jade believes that anyone is able to change, even the most evil, most vile of people, however she understands that even though they are able to change, it is more likely than not that they won’t change, and so she is not against putting someone down with force - she just prefers that they attempt to make the individual surrender first if that is an option. She can often be a little blinded, seeing someone as less of a threat than they actually are if they try to fool her, however she is smart enough to not be unprepared for such an encounter. Backstory With a fascination in the human mind, Jade believed that she was going to go into a field that involved psychology. She was entertained by how different everyone’s mind was, and how people were able to completely change themselves by their own will or by their experiences. It was absolutely fascinating to her, to the point where she started to perform extreme mental exercises on herself to push her mind to its limits, as far as it could go each time. She stimulated her mind in all sorts of ways, from pleasure to pain, until finally she had enough - of herself. That was when her Feral Mind first kicked in, causing her to violently tear through her own room and then, by extension, charge through her house. Her body changing didn’t help, she internally panicked as she went from a bird to a bull to a werewolf before she finally collapsed. Jade ended up waking up in a hospital, with several new appendages, and without a home; it had apparently collapsed due to her charging through a wall at some point in an uncontrollable rage. It took a lot of time for Jade to adjust to her new abilities, as well as new parts of her ‘human’ body. It hurt her a lot to know she had gained such new features, and for the first few days after having gotten comfortable with her powers tried to get rid of them, and eventually just got used to them and started to like having them. She thought that the new set of ears and the tail suited her look. Once the young woman was discharged from the hospital, with nowhere else to go, she ended up joining H.E.R.O. After all, she didn’t have anywhere else to go. She figured she may as well learn to use the abilities she had for good, as well as make sure she had people around her that understood, people that were at least somewhat like her in that they had powers, too. Power Animal Nature: Jade is able to transform into any animal that she wishes, including aquatic and avian animals. This power stretches slightly into the unknown world, allowing her to transform into such creatures as werewolves and phoenixes if she so wishes. As a supplement to this power she can also form natural alliances with and communicate with animals. This power alone is not of great significance, however Jade also possesses the ability to unlock the feral part of her mind, and enable a portion of it to overcome her natural mind. This significantly increases her speed and durability, however depending on how much of her feral mind she wishes to unlock can start losing focus on her actual goal and end up as little more than an animal in mind. This ability comes with no timer, however she can tire herself out of her feral mind, bringing her back to normal. Additionally, if she is put to sleep or knocked out, she is also knocked out of her feral mind, which locks itself back up. This ability also, if she unlocks too much of her feral mind, may cause her to lose perception on who her allies are and who her enemies are, causing her to attack both if she can’t discern the difference, or is pushed too far to care. His eyes are a green-hazel colour, and he has brown hair. Jasper is quite fit and his body slim, and he has a brown feline tail as well as a pair of brown feline ears atop his head. Blood Type O+ Occupation Hero and Online distance-learning high school student. Side Hero Affiliation H.E.R.O Tier C-Tier Personality While his sister is a lot more open, Jasper is more shyer than his older sibling. He does enjoy going out and he enjoys talking to people, but he doesn’t like even the minor amount of fame that comes with being a Hero if it means he’ll have even a small crowd of people circling him to thank him and congratulate him. Jasper tends to get flustered and a little embarrassed in situations like that, and if necessary, he will resort to hiding behind his friends, the people that he trusts the more. That doesn’t mean he isn’t confident often, though; he can definitely stand up for himself. But he’s better at standing up against evil than he is the innocent. Due to the difference in his Feral Mind compared to his sister’s, his Feral Mind has a slight effect on his natural, human mind, which gives him some feline tendencies, such as liking fish or occasionally needing to scratch something. Backstory The younger brother of Jade grew up closer to his sister than his parents. He had always felt like she was great to him, mostly because she had never harmed or hurt him in any way, and she was always an ear for him whenever he needed to talk about anything, even childish questions. Once he grew up, he figured out that it was her fascination that psychology that made her so compelled to listen to him, but that didn’t actually matter to him - at least her care for him was genuine. He didn’t have many moments where he felt upset with her. Until Jade joined H.E.R.O. At that point, she completely had moved out and Jasper was forced to live with his parents. It wasn’t that he didn’t like his parents, it was more-so that he missed having his sister around. After a while he had begun to grow used to her being away, and by a year or two he was comfortable with her being as she was. Including her new features. He found them to be quite nice, quite interesting. Eventually, he ended up moving in with his sister, moving out of his parents’ house and into her’s, just to be close to her again. And soon enough, Jasper broke just as his sister had done years ago. He snapped, breaking into a fit of rage and terror that caused him to transform in the same way that Jade had done - that remained only within the living room with the assistance of a furious older sister pinning him down with not just strength of her own but also a fully complete transformation, as opposed to the only partial transformations that Jasper was doing, and experience from her time as a Hero. The Feral Mind of Jasper lasted a long while, with it having a fresh grasp on his mind, however cooled down just as fast and leaving him with the same mark as his sister - a pair of animal ears and a tail. However, unlike his sister, his ones weren’t canine, they were feline. The two spent weeks in experimentation, but grew puzzled. Jasper couldn’t transform his whole body into an animal like his sister could, only gain the features of some animals. At the same time, his Feral Mind was a lot stronger than his sister’s in what it provided him when he activated it, and had a lot more of a presence than his sister’s, seeping a little into his normal head and giving him feline-like tendencies sometimes. The only thing that was common between them both discovering their powers was that they both joined H.E.R.O after. Power Animal Nature: The way that Jasper utilises his power is much like his sister, however it has some differences. Jasper can obtain animal traits much like his sister, but while she has to transform into the whole animal, Jasper only receives a part - to his choosing - that he wants, such as their teeth or claws. If he pushes himself hard, he can obtain more than one animal’s features at a time (not counting his feline features). If he wants more or wants a second animal’s features easier, he can tap into the deep parts of his Feral Mind to do so, however that amount of Feral Mind being tapped into can put him on the edge of Ferality and the loss of his sane mind due to the Feral Mind of Jasper being more powerful than that of Jade’s. The weakness to this remains the same; it comes with no timer, however he can tire himself out of the Feral Mind or be knocked out of it by, well, getting knocked out. As a side effect, his Feral Mind has a slight effect on his natural, human mind, giving him slight feline tendencies.
