Jin followed the older woman through the bustling crowd, trying to keep from jostling into other students. The woman prattled on and on about how the school was better than other places where they were "mean". Jin shook her head; they weren't buying it. They'd met "mean" and doubted this clean and organized place would have anything that could really bother them.

Once they hit the auditorium doors, Jin looked back as the woman lied to her face. It wasn't even a good lie; she fumbled it. So - maybe she wasn't all sunshine and roses.

Suddenly, Jin could hear talking at a distance. They turned around through the same door they'd entered, only to hear someone giving a speech in the middle of the commons. [color=92278f][b]"I thought the speech would be in the auditorium? Shit." [/b] [/color]Jin looked off, obviously uncomfortable. [color=92278f][b]"Sorry. For making you take me all this way."[/b][/color] And then they turned around and fled back into the crowd, deeply embarrassed.
