Helping to support his rather tall, lithe frame, Minoru has worked his body to fit what one would view a muscular 15 year old boy would look like. His hair matches the color of his eyes, a dark blue.
[sub]Characterization[/sub]
Determined Persistent Independent Kind Stubborn Headstrong Lonely Hot-tempered
[sub]Personal History[/sub]
The youngest of two brothers, Minoru was always looked upon as a future hero. His parents, Izai and Mine, read to him every night about the heroes of yore, despite quirks only being around for so long. Protecting the weak, defeating the villains, and gaining popularity as legendary heroes, these factors sparked a deep love for heroism within young Minoru. Not only were these stories intriguing but he had a greater inspiration within his older brother Izaya, the Steamboat Hero. Izaya made pro hero status at age 20, and he regaled his younger brother in all of his heroic deed. This only intensified when the young future hero's quirk manifested, taking on his grand father's quirk. Such quirk's weren't uncommon but it still didn't often of bypassing the parent and situating within the child. Minoru could never have been happier, even if his quirk was quite destructive. Things would eventually change for the worst. At the tender age of 10, Minoru would undergo a terrifying experience. It was the weekend and he was training hard to learn more about his quirk; his mother had been setting up training dummies and his father relaxing. Izaya had been known in Osaka for standing up to the Yakuza, and he had fought alongside a group of friends in their own unofficial group. On a routine patrol, Izaya tried to stop a group of Yakuza from shaking down a local store, calling in for help but getting no answer. His life would be lost that day with no one around to help him. Izai and Mine would break down, crying uncontrollably as they told Minoru the news. The young boy screamed endlessly about where were the other heroes. Why had no one been there to support him? This was so devastating to Minoru that he stopped talking to anyone for a whole week. He couldn't understand why his bother had to die, warping his whole idea on heroes working together that he had learned from watching his brother and friends. Ishin Academy would be the place to make his mark, and display how he would make it as a hero all on his own.
[sub]Character Development & Conceptualization[/sub]
For my initial idea, I wanted to make Minoru into a rival style character, taking ideas from the many rival characters in anime. But I didn't want him to be a borderline villain nor overly hostile. I'm looking to craft a story line where Minoru has to learn to take in help and finally come to terms with his brother's death. This story line will help him become engaged with the other students eventually and over time I want him to create an indescribable bond with his class. His loneliness will be the first thing he learns to grow past and will open up various avenues. I hope that I can bring an interesting narrative based from my love of MHA. My goal with Minoru is to create longstanding bonds with other characters, crafting a fun experience for us all. I think having someone that has to crack their perversion to take help from others, the belief that no one is reliable except for yourself. Any bond created, even if its a single character, is good enough for me in this rp. It is not just the bonds because I hope to progress Minoru as a hero to hopefully organize the first superhero team, even if its on a lower level with his class mates.

Abilities & Talents

[sub]Quirk Type[/sub]
Emitter
[sub]Quirk Description[/sub]
Turbine - A rather difficult Quirk to classify, Turbine's power allows Minoru's body to function like a wind turbine of sorts; he can freely convert wind that strikes him into electricity. This electricity is stored throughout his body, and at his command he can release and attack with it. Initially, this proved difficult to control, and maneuvers such as shaping and directing it were beyond him; as such, whenever he activated his Quirk and ordered the lightning to be released, Minoru would discharge it at a massive rate, filling the whole area around him and threatening to destroy it all and hurt those in the direct vicinity. With proper training, however, Minoru has developed his ability further, to the point that he can freely manipulate his electricity on any part of his body that he wishes, as well as controlling the exact amount and intensity. It is commonly used to enhance his physical blows, as this requires the least amount of output, but he can also discharge electricity violently within his vicinity, leaving him completely drained . Once his lightning has been discharged and separated from his being, Minoru loses any control over it. It will simply continue to perform the function he left it with unless stopped, destroyed, or taken control of by another. When normally hit by wind, Minoru's body converts it into electricity. However, the amount converted by his Quirk is no massive amount, and it is quite possible for him to strain him heavily. Unfortunately his asthma affects his ability to convert air into electricity, asphyxiation is possibility. When in this state, the situation becomes far more dangerous for him, as even a massive gust of wind will not be sufficient to sustain him for a long-term fight. Thus, the longer a battle drags out, the more difficulty Minoru will have.
[sub]Other Talents & Attributes[/sub]
Cooking Comics Working out Boxing
