Name Rumi Bers Polamor Hero Name Sir E. Brum Nicknames n/a (for now) Gender Male Age 23 Date of Birth December 24 Physique Rumi is 5' 8", and has light ginger hair and green eyes. His baggy clothes hide a rather lithe muscle build, courtesy of spending time in the training rooms in HERO One. His costume is dark-grey and skin-tight, covering his entire body except for his head, and made of a sturdy yet flexible material that acts as body armor. It is designed with mobility and defense in mind. Blood Type AB+ Occupation

Hero
Engineer of Polamor Inc.
Side Hero Affiliation H.E.R.O Tier D Personality Rumi appears to be a happy-go-lucky guy. He is always giving off a cheerful smile and eager to strike up a conversation to anyone willing to listen to, or even just put up with him. It's merely a cover, though, as he observes other people to determine what they are capable of. He particularly enjoys seeing peoples' respective powers and how he can bring about their full potential. He's also fond of picking other peoples' brains and seeing what ideas he can get out of them. The more unusual the person, the more intrigued he gets, and vice versa. He is also a bit of a flirt with the ladies, but is respectful with them and will not go beyond a passing remark if they are not receptive with him. While he does love creating gadgets, he is aware of how much harm they could bring should they fall into the wrong hands. Because of this, he has chosen only to sell off only the relatively safe ones while keeping the much more dangerous and versatile items either in his possession, or in his mind, never to be created. Backstory Rumi grew up in a rather well-off household, specifically as the son of Chief Engineer of a moderately-sized engineering firm. There were plenty of tools and gadgets to tinker with, and Rumi spent much of his time taking them apart and putting them back together. Rumi's parents were quick to realize that Rumi was quite the little prodigy, but even that proved to be an understatement as he continued on to excel in academics and even participate in his father's work, oftentimes doing better than he did. He was soon tested and it was revealed how superhuman his intellect really was, boasting a 300+ IQ and proving his superhuman status. There were a few that attempted to bully Rumi, both adolescents and adults that disagreed with him, but they were quickly "dissuaded" after a bout with him and some personalized self-defense gadgets. He soon moved on to take over the engineering company his father worked at and made it expand by having it specialize in creating gadgets and other support items for heroes to buy. It soon grew into a small but powerful entity, renamed to Polamor Inc. As he worked, however, he soon grew bored with the limits of his own ideas, lacking inspiration for his next inventions. He decided to go to HERO One, one of the main buyers of his company's inventions, and seek out ideas there. It was there that he found people of all kinds, both heroes and staff, and realized the limitless potential for ideas by studying superhumans directly. From there, Rumi had the bright idea of applying to become a member of H.E.R.O himself. He did not want to apply with nothing but his brain, though, and so he made a name for himself by using his specialty: nanotech. Power: Cerebrum Rumi's brain is far more powerful than an average human's. IQ tests have revealed a 300+ score, and he demonstrates a photographic memory. He uses his vast intellect to learn as much as he can about the world around him to better his surroundings. Unfortunately, this ability does little to nothing for his physical ability, making him no stronger than an average human.

Overclock: By concentrating, Rumi increases his brain's processing speed and effectively slows down his perspective of time. He can more quickly observe the immediate situation/crisis, but this also means his movements will feel slowed down. Also, should he overuse this ability, his brain will "fry out", giving him a splitting headache and making it difficult to think.
Engineering (not actually a power): After years of interacting with various pieces of technology, from toasters to high-spec computers, Rumi has developed quite the knack for engineering, which he mainly uses for researching and developing his own forms of tools and gadgets to be used for himself or other heroes. He is also knowledgeable of the medical part of engineering, due to the number of different applications for human augmentation.
Nanotechnology: He specializes in the realm of nanotech, which he uses to great degrees of success. The interface is a chrome visor with a pair of short antenna on either side, which reads his brainwaves and interprets them as commands for the bots to follow. Thanks to his brain, he can command the robots to respond to any immediate crisis, ranging from forming a shield to block an attack or giving his legs an extra boost to leap around. His Overclocking ability has also proven to synergize with these bots, moving faster in response to his processing speed. He keeps these bots only in two special utility belts which he keeps on his person for his own personal use; he does not create more for fear that they may be stolen and reverse-engineered.
OTHER

He REALLY enjoys sweets, claiming that the extra energy from the sugar helps him concentrate. It is unknown whether that claim is actually true.
He does not like cats. According to him, they "mess up everything."

Starbright
Status: Acquaintance Despite his ability with light, he's not really, well, all that bright. Heh, get it? I've been thinking of a sort of light-focusing device for his abilities, but considering the guy's attitude for his image rather than his actual hero work, he will probably never use it.
Ava
Status: Acquaintance A curious creature. Maybe once upon a time I would've liked to study her anatomy and physiology, but these days I'm more interested in technology. Not much else to note about her, though, from what has been recorded and observed by others. I'm more than willing to leave her in the care of others more capable than I and simply observe her myself. A simple, durable suit that can keep up with her body's strength oughta be enough of an upgrade for her, and any modifications can be established at a later date.
Bypass
Status: Friend Finally, someone to speak to about topics such as theoretical physics and mechanical engineering. It's a rarity to find another kindred spirit. Her ability is currently beyond my understanding, but it is only a matter of time before its secrets are unraveled. That is, if she'll let me study her portals. I can only do so much with theories and calculations. [sub]...And she's quite cute, to boot.[/sub]
Firebird
Status: Friend Honestly, it's hard not to like him. He just has this... aura about him that makes you crack a smile sometimes. If only he could stop being so reckless with his flames. He'd be perfect, otherwise. I do have a synthetic alloy I can use to create a suit for him that's durable enough to withstand heated battles, both figuratively and literally. Smoke is also an issue, but a suitable air filter and mask oughta be enough, provided he is willing to wear it.
Quake
Status: -unknown- It's... it's complicated. She's a nice enough girl, brimming with curiosity and, uh... yeah. It's just... she doesn't seem to learn, is all. In my opinion, it would be best to keep her away from influences like Brianna Hart, especially with powers like hers. It's just asking for trouble. As for her ability itself, well, it's no mistake to give her the "S" tier. Her costume could use a few upgrades to minimize the damage done to herself. Something like vibration absorbing material at her hands and joints, and extra extendable straps to help create makeshift splints until she can reach a medic or healer that can treat her wounds.
Static
Status: Acquaintance(?) Quite the troublemaker, she is. Honestly, it's bad for my image to seen interacting with her too much, which is why I rarely do outside of work as a Hero. Her abilities are just as annoying, as she can seriously damage my tech if she's not careful. I would assume she already carries small, high-capacity batteries to allow her to freely use her electrical abilities at any time, but if she doesn't, that should be her top priority.

Phantom/Skylar Ezra
Status: (self-proclaimed) Archenemy The entire premise of her fascinates me. A suit of armor melding into a human, and a computer virus capable of hijacking a human brain, even one within a cyborg body, is really quite astounding. I'd love to study her body, see how her mechanical systems work in tandem with her organs and such. Of course, there's also the complexity of such a program needed to suppress the will of a human mind for extended periods of time, and maintain complex functions of her body at the same time. I am currently devoting much of my time and resources to studying her capabilities and capturing her myself. If possible, I would like to free Skylar from this Phantom's control as well, but it must be done with the utmost care. Who knows what could happen if one just haphazardly removes a virus from a human brain, and that's not even including the difficulty in capturing her in the first place. But I believe I can do it. After all, I'm [sub]debatably[/sub] the smartest man in the world.
