I'm really still not sold on Beacon's powers, though, in part because you're describing two very separate things. First, you have this idea of him turning into an alien after he was thrown into space, which is fine, but then you have him also being a powerful psychic, which is also fine. The problem is that when you put the two together, you have a dude with a wicked alien body that is also Professor X, and I'm not really seeing much of a link between these two other than them happening at the same time. All-in-all, I'm not sure if this character is the best fit for this RP. The RP isn't really a very sci-fi centered one at all, and I feel like this is some type of alien-Lovecraft mashup that is [i]really[/i] cool but doesn't seem to mesh well with the RP's more modern, superhero-y, slightly comedic theme. I'm not saying that it [i]won't[/i] work, I just think that as of right now, it doesn't feel right for the RP if you understand me.
