Gorosk fought and failed to retain the stoic contemplative expression and presence a Monk ought to project. His fellow Monks would not be pleased but they would also not be surprised in the slightest. This should not be a test of their abilities. It was no great hardship to endure nor did it require any creative thinking that might bring enlightenment, but Gorosk whooped just the same as he charged hard at the mottled brown dog sized beast beside Beaumont. Gorosk opted for a not particularly expert move to hit the dire rat, aiming to just kick it square in the head and shoulders. His kicks connects, but not particularly well. He doesn't get that full thick feeling of a strike that properly seated itself into the target, but rather the unsatisfying slippery feel of a glancing blow.
