For a few tense moments, her large eyes analysed the student blankly, without much to go on as to what her thought process was. “Do you look like a... Uhm... Kind of!” The response was without consideration, though it lacked the audible confrontational nature that would befit the words. “You're cute! A little short? Your hair reminds me of something... Uhhh..." With a finger squishing up her cheek in thought, Hajo's eyes suddenly lit up, and she snapped her fingers, as the epiphany struck her. "Kinda like a takoyaki-stand's mascot! Oh, oh, yeah, mascot more than a sidekick!” It seemed the evaluation process delighted the lavender-haired girl, who rocked back and forth while still sitting on her heel, leaning over the armrest and into her seat neighbor's personal space. Immediately abandoning the topic, Hajo craned her neck, now following the girl's gaze towards the stage. Cluelessness was etched into each feature. “There's nothing there yet, you know that? Are you alright?” She maintained her own eyes fixed unto the empty stage. “Ah, I get it! You're just really eager to get started, right? Right? Me too! I wonder if we'll do anything special for our orientation like Shiketsu does. Do you know what they do with new students? Do you? I do, heh, my parents went there, and, uh... Most of my family.” For a moment, Hajo's energy seemed to evaporate into nothingness, and her eyes seemed to lose their focus, until she snapped back into her excitement. “Well, it would be cool to do something special, wouldn't it? I bet everyone else is excited. Look at that guy!” she exclaimed unceremoniously, and pointed at entrance, outside of which she had spotted the large, brown-haired student. A few of the seniors snickered at her rude gesture, while others sneered, obviously judging the girl's apparent lack of manners. “There was a guy just sweating a bunch. Nervous, too. I don't blame him. Or you! Don't worry!” she reassured the brooding student next to her. “I'm super excited as well!”
