He has light brown eyes, black hair, and keeps it cut short. He tries to remain clean-shaven, but he has his days where you can see a bit of stubble. On duty, Marcus wears his Keystone City Police Department uniform, while off duty, Marcus dresses as casual as possible when he can. He dresses for comfort if he’s just running an errand, but will up the ante for a date or a gathering that requires better attire than a t-shirt and sweats.
{Equipment and Personal Belongings}

Marcus owns two 9mm pistols, a .45 caliber pistol, and an AR-15 rifle, handcuffs, a Brooklyn Crusher bat, a white Dodge Charger. | {Physical Abilities} |
Adept in the use of conventional small arms use and tactics. He knows a few grapples and can box enough to outmatch an unskilled opponent easily. What aids Marcus is his athleticism. He keeps himself in shape with long-distance runs, weight lifting, and bodyweight exercises.
{Superpowers}
Replication and Teleportation. Marcus can instantly teleport to known and viewed locations with a light visible dust effect to go with it. Marcus also can create three additional clones of himself that share his ability to teleport, but cannot replicate themselves. The replicated versions of Marcus cannot accomplish any tasks or feats that Marcus cannot do. They are him. His will, his goals, memories, and capabilities. Marcus can recall the clones, causing them to warp away as if using teleportation.
{Limitations}
Can only teleport to locations known or viewed by himself or his clones. Though his clones can teleport, they cannot create additional clones. If a clone were to die, it would vanish in the same manner that Marcus makes them appear. Marcus would also be unable to restore/replace that clone until 24 hours have elapsed since the death of that clone.

{Personality}
Marcus is a guy with a heavy heart at the moment. After losing one of his best friends in the line of duty, he grieved pretty hard. The pain of loss twisted into a want for vengeance. He tries to keep those feelings buried when he’s around coworkers, friends, and even Charlotte who might be the closest person to him. Especially Charlotte. Marcus is sure Charlotte, James’ twin sister was hit much harder by his passing and puts on a strong demeanor to support her. Meanwhile, he leaves his darker thoughts for himself. On the surface, Marcus is a loveable guy who would go above and beyond to help others in their struggles. He laughs along with everyone else and he loves life. In actuality, Marcus is deeply troubled by James’ death, but it’s also what drives him. His determination could almost be described as an obsession. He wants vengeance on a street gang operating in Kansas City known as the Trappers and will go above and beyond to eliminate their presence within that city. Despite his deep hate for the gang, he isn’t some cold-blooded killer. He would gladly see them all behind bars, but the law works too slow for what he wants. He admires the heroics of others and sometimes thinks of the day where he could do more with his powers, but for now, he is focused on those who murdered his friend.
{Place of Origin}
Marcus was born and raised in Kansas City but moved to Keystone City approximately 6 months ago.
{Background}
Marcus was born and raised as a single child living with only his mother in Kansas City, Missouri. Though his father wasn't in his life, his mother took care to raise him to be a better man than his predecessor. And though she was successful, she couldn't be perfect. Marcus kept his head in the books and participated in a few sports, but he also hung around questionable crowds. He never really involved himself in petty crimes growing up, but he was privy to them. Growing up, Marcus had always loved his city despite most people gravitating to both Central City and Keystone City. Perhaps it was just a matter of pride, but he was familiar with everything there. The people, the culture, and some of the other little things that made it Kansas City. During his junior year of high school, Marcus met James during a pickup football game in Keystone City. The two formed a rivalry that blossomed into a friendship. After some time James was able to convince Marcus to become a police officer, but only if they went with the Kansas City Police Department. After graduating from the police academy the two remained in contact for years. They would spend on the force before James was slain. A Kansas City street gang known as the Trappers ambushed James after he was called to the scene of an altercation involving members Trappers at a convenience store. Marcus arrived shortly after a call for back up, but all he found was his long time friend bleeding out from several gunshot wounds. No one came forward as a witness, but Marcus was sure this was all a setup. He kept that thought from James' twin sister, Charlotte, whom he comforted in her grief. During this time Marcus dealt with his demons on his own, briefly slipping into alcoholism while on administrative leave. Marcus and Charlotte knew each other through James already, but they bonded much more in grief. The two currently and sometimes awkwardly walk the line between being romantic and platonic. The two were together getting a bit plastered when the particle accelerator went off. They shared a kiss that night, which made things a little awkward, causing the two to put a little distance between each other. Marcus and Charlotte knew each other through James already, but they bonded much more in grief. The two currently and sometimes awkwardly walk the line between being romantic and platonic. The two were actually together getting a bit plastered when the particle accelerator went off. They shared a kiss that night, which made things a little awkward, causing the two to put a little distance between each other. Little did he know, that wouldn't be the most awkward thing to come out of that night. After about two weeks during one of Marcus' lower moments with the bottle, he drank until himself to sleep in both grief and regret. Grief for James and regret for allowing himself for getting too drunk while with Charlotte. The next morning, he not only woke with a splitting headache, but... to himself. A copy of himself, but they appeared just as surprised, exactly as surprised. Before he could fully comprehend what was happening, the copy of himself disappeared, not appearing until the following morning. His conversations with it were less like talking to an alternate version of himself and more like he was monologuing between two bodies. The copy lacked any deviation from himself, and did what he willed, even vanishing where it stood. Marcus requested an extension on his leave to further figure out what was going on with himself which was granted as well as a transfer to Keystone Police Precinct performing desk duty for the time being, to get away from Kansas City. It was no longer the city he loved, the place just disgusted him now. Marcus used his time to figure out how this copy worked by having it go out without him while he conducted research on current events related to the phenomenon he was experiencing. And though he hadn't found out about his particular situation, there were a few weird things happening within the local area, but a lot of it seemed like just random and minuscule abnormalities at the time. As crazy as being able to summon a clone of yourself was, it kept him from spiraling to a low point for a while. Also, suddenly learning he could teleport across the living room really kept him occupied with his "research." Marcus returned from leave approximately a month after the particle acceleratir incident with a little bit of a better outlook on things, especially when he could split the time by having one of him stay home and do whatever he wanted. This went well for about a month, but idle time was the devil's playground and Marcus despite his demeanor was still grieving inside. Rather than focusing on what he could do now, he focused on what could have been done if he had his abilities. He could have identified James' killers, hell he could have saved him. Marcus' thoughts became dangerous as he felt he could properly avenge James by his own means. There were times where the him at home would drink himself into a stupor or until he passed out on the sofa. His feeling of hopelessness slowly died as he hungered to take action, and not as an officer of the law. In the next 4 months, Marcus had focused much of his time between three things. Knowing the activities of the Kansas City Trappers, his abilities, and work. Oh and sometimes Charlotte called to hangout every now and then. He thought of telling her, but he didn't want to worry her about his plans to hit the Trappers. He was nearly complete with constructing the outfit he planned to venture out into the Kansas City streets with. He felt he was as ready as he needed to be. Four guns with capable men that could fire them and lets not even mention the ability to teleport. It was time to make a change. New year, new me, right?
