J.R. huffs softly in amusement when Theo tells her that the razor-edged shield doesn’t leave his side. She should’ve known better than to depend on someone else for the moment. She watches the drakon for a moment, anticipating its movements. When the beast turns its back, she sprints through the portal, allowing her boots to give her a bit of a boost. When she reaches the other side, she scans her surroundings with a keen eye. Ivy looks at the blonde girl, who seems to be unprotected. “Run! I’ll cover you! Go!” She urges the girl, silently praying that her ordinary daggers are enough of a distraction should it come to that. She thanks every god she can think of when the drakon turns away, distracted by something. She grabs the girl’s hand and sprints for the portal. She pushes her through before going through herself. When they’re through she pauses. “It was Lilith, right?” she pants.
