She could hardly feel her legs after walking such a long distance. Part of her bags were already starting to drag. She'd have to work on getting into shape if she wanted to make this work. Clutching her medicine bag, she reminded herself why she was here. Allet kept her focus on the familiar view ahead as a smile warmed her face. From the mighty waterfall to her south to the never ending mountains surrounding the village, it always left her speechless. She could still remember the first time her parents brought her here. It had been one of the one more memorable moments in her childhood. She wondered what Tuáhtár was working on at the moment. Perhaps she’d get a chance to visit her, it had been several years since they last saw each other. What would she think of Allet’s sudden choice to assist the King? Taking a deep breath, Allet turned her attention to the group around her. She still wasn’t quite sure what she thought of them, or what they thought of her. The Elf named Sylvaine was a bit intimidating, but Allet felt strangely safe around her and edged near her as they walked. She seemed the most experienced amongst the group, especially considering the number of weapons she carried. As they walked, she broke the silence and asked, “Do you really need three daggers? And what are those longer swords called?” Allet had little to no experience with swords, she always found it boring as a child. Alfaru, the Half-Elf, walked behind her and Sylvaine. Allet had no idea what kind of person he was, only that he preferred magic like her. He even had experience in healing magic which Allet hoped to learn more about. All of her healing abilities resulted in herbs and medicine only. The other human, Numair, was an Eldritch knight and Allet couldn’t help but be scared of him. He seemed really stern and it felt like he wouldn’t hesitate to kill her in her sleep. Despite herself, she shivered at the thought.
