Finished him up, let's see how this goes.

Thomas Q. He's a bit short, standing at only 5'6", and he's thin and wiry, not really showing much in the way of muscle definition. A head of black hair sits above plain brown eyes that watch every detail of the world around him, framing a face that could serve just as well in front of the camera as behind. His outdoorsy lifestyle has left him with a decent, almost picturesque tan that just exists, where he makes no effort to enhance or improve upon it; it's just something that happens when you do what he does after all. He is a professional, so he dresses well in his day-to-day life. Since he's not usually the person whose photo is being taken, he tries to make the best impression he can when he walks in the door.
| {Equipment and Personal Belongings} |

Cinematography - Thomas is almost always going to have a camera on him, of various makes and models depending on the day. He has quite a few, after all, as he's spent his adult life as a photographer. With cameras come accessories, so expect to find lenses aplenty and whatever else he thought might be necessary when heading out
Picking your Battles - While he doesn't always carry them with him because they're not exactly something you carry everywhere, Thomas does own a decent set of lock-picking tools of various makes. He tends to find it easier to scout out a location and then only bring the actual tools he'll need if he actually needs to involve doors while getting somewhere he shouldn't be. Your electronic keypads are probably safe though.

| {Physical Abilities} | "Hᴜᴍᴀɴs ɴᴇᴇᴅ ғᴀɴᴛᴀsɪᴇs ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ ʜᴜᴍᴀɴ, ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇ ᴡʜᴇʀᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ғᴀʟʟɪɴɢ ᴀɴɢᴇʟ ᴍᴇᴇᴛs ᴛʜᴇ ʀɪsɪɴɢ ᴀᴘᴇ."

Equestrian - Having grown up on a ranch, Thomas knows how to proper care for and raise horses, as well as how to train and ride them.
Photography - Thomas spent the last few years earning money as a professional photographer, and has a wide breadth of knowledge on that front. His favorite pieces are cityscape and landscape photos, though he has also done whatever work paid as needed.
Parkour - Thomas has often found a need to get to absolutely ridiculous positions in order to get the perfect shot. Or just to get somewhere where he strictly doesn't belong because not everyone is happy to invite some photographer up onto their roof for the next 3 hours while he looks for his moment. So he's picked up the skill to get anywhere, anytime.
Covert Entry - Lockpicking is an art and learning it isn't too arduous. Every little bit helps when you want to get the perfect shot.
People Watching - Something he's picked up more in the last month, using his powers, Thomas has become somewhat adept at reading people, even from a distance. It's like eavesdropping with his eyes. He's living rent-free in your head.

Given his powers though, you really should just always suspect a wider and wider skillset growing as time goes on. | {Superpowers} | "As ᴘʀᴀᴄᴛɪᴄᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴛᴏ sᴛᴀʀᴛ ᴏᴜᴛ ʟᴇᴀʀɴɪɴɢ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇʟɪᴇᴠᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ ʟɪᴇs. Side effects may include but are not limited to a handy dandy sense of danger, the ability to pretend he has a sixth sense, the ability to notice things other people would ignore, eavesdropping, and enhanced cold reads.
Skill Acquisition {Unaware} - Ever since the incident, Thomas has found his memory better, and his ability to learn is far beyond what should be possible. Even his muscle memory is enhanced. This isn't a product of being more intelligent, nor has it made him a genius. Just better at learning and mastering skills through practice and repetition, developing skillsets and knowledge. He isn't actually aware of this power, but that doesn't exactly stop it from working.

| {Limitations} |

Practical Mechanics - Thomas might be the fastest-learning person you'll ever meet, but he's still limited by his physical body. He can't just watch someone who is bigger and stronger and then turn their own style against them and win. He would still be smaller and weaker, after all. He still has to be strong enough to do things, or fast enough, or whatever.

| {Personality} |
Thomas is a methodical man, the sort that plans everything out ahead of time and then executes in a swift, unyielding blow. He is undeniably a businessman at heart, even if he isn't some rich, big-name corporate overlord. He enjoys connecting with people, and he's very much a self-motivated person, driven by pride more than anything else. A lot of who Thomas is comes from his desire to make a name for himself, so one could easily describe him as selfish even if his actions benefit others. He loves the outdoors as he spent most of his formative years learning to love it. But he found passion, and yes, it is a proper passion, working behind the camera (ironic for someone who really wants the spotlight). He's willing to do a lot for the perfect shot, including doing things that aren't necessarily legal. And it's not like he's hurting anyone by sneaking around where he ought not to be, so it's not really "wrong".
| {Place of Origin} |
Thomas is native to the Keystone City area, having grown up in the historical sector on his father's ranch. While the Rosa name is somewhat new to the area (Thomas's grandfather having purchased it about 40 years ago), the land they're on isn't, nor is the ranch itself.
| {Background} | "Tᴀᴋᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ᴜɴɪᴠᴇʀsᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ɢʀɪɴᴅ ɪᴛ ᴅᴏᴡɴ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ғɪɴᴇsᴛ ᴘᴏᴡᴅᴇʀ, ᴀɴᴅ sɪᴇᴠᴇ ɪᴛ ᴛʜʀᴏᴜɢʜ ᴛʜᴇ ғɪɴᴇsᴛ sɪᴇᴠᴇ, ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇɴ sʜᴏᴡ ᴍᴇ ᴏɴᴇ ᴀᴛᴏᴍ ᴏғ ᴊᴜsᴛɪᴄᴇ, ᴏɴᴇ ᴍᴏʟᴇᴄᴜʟᴇ ᴏғ ᴍᴇʀᴄʏ."
The third son of Tomás Rosa Calderón and Alejandra Quijano Guardia, Tomás Rosa Quijano grew up on the ranch his grandfather had purchased on moving to America from Mexico, going to an American school and coming home every day to help with the horses, he had a relatively comfortable if not laborious childhood. Not rich (well aside from being land-rich), but never poor. Of the three children, Tomás was the one most influenced by the world outside the ranch. Sure, horses are amazing and you can't help but love horses, that's a simple fact of human nature, but simple logistics meant that, for one thing, he was very unlikely to be the child inheriting the ranch once dad retired, and another thing, as a hotblooded 16-year-old he came to the very clear and obvious conclusion that he needed to make his own name, and leave his own personal mark in the world. This might have been influenced by the fact that his father named him Tomás. That certainly left some impetus for him to get out there and be himself rather than just his father's son. So he settled down and started to focus on his future. A future that would not have hay or horses in it. It was hard to get going, to spread his wings and go do something new, something he hadn't even considered before, but he found himself in the world of photography. It sang to him, as much as a picture can sing. Then again, a picture is worth a thousand words. He got that start while still in school, and he started his portfolio while still a minor. By the time he graduated, he was ready. He had enough equipment to start, he had some money saved up, and he made his start in the world. The name Thomas Rose made its entrance to the professional scene in the form of Rose Photography LLC, solely owned and operated by a young man who called himself Thomas Q. Rose. And Thomas did exactly what you do when you put "Photography" in the name of your single-person company. He took pictures. He sold pictures. He sold his time as a photographer. He put money back in for better equipment, better training, and honed his understanding for years. Things were good. And then someone blew up a particle accelerator. That changed things a fair bit. Sure, Thomas wasn't immediately affected. But he kept an ear to the ground. The world was changing all of a sudden. Everyone seemed to understand at least that simple fact. Rumors about people with special powers were circling the twin cities like a cloud of buzzards. Rumors turned to stories; stories that one couldn't really ignore. Especially if you were the sort of person who could make a lot if you were the first to catch proof of one of those "metahumans" in action. Too bad the most obvious thing related to the whole mess was apparently a Blur that raced around the city at ludicrous speeds. Five months passed before his own powers started to manifest. It was more subtle than some of the stuff that he heard whispers about, it was the sort of thing that some people might have ignored. It was a gradual shift in perception, something easy to miss. But he lived and worked in a visual medium, so an eye for detail was sort of part and parcel. And oh, how he had an eye for detail afterwards. And a nose, and ears, and everything else to go with it. He had been blessed with something special, a gift, and having been driven this far in life by doing what he felt passionate about, and by the desire to leave a mark on the world, he resolved to make use of this gift. He dove into research in his free time, when he wasn't out doing his job or dealing with paperwork or handling his network of contacts in the industry. Spinning an extra plate seemed so much easier now, even though he couldn't put a finger on exactly how it was easier. A bit of paperwork and adjusting the setup at his office, and he was almost ready. Thomas Rose Investigations LLC made a nice addition to his very odd corporate existence. On the Keystone City side of the Missouri River, at least, that was all it really took to set things up. Register as a charitable organization, set it up as a non-profit, and it qualified for exemption from needing a PI license. The Central City side of doing business is taking a fair bit longer, but he'd like to expand there just to be sure he can really help whatever clients come his way. But business is opening today, and Thomas Q. Rose is about to walk into a world of heroes and villains the likes of which he could only have imagined six months ago.
