He had a son and two daughters who remained in the castle with him. It had been many years since they won the war, where an army of werewolves and their allies tried to take over their land. However, their victory came at a price..... There were many casualties. The warrior spirited queen, who had insisted on fighting on the battlefield, had lost her life along with many of their soldiers. She had left behind a family who loved her. Her windowed husband spent many a sleepless night in a rage. Her only son often tried to leave home to seek revenge and had to be held back, as well as kept an eye on. They felt that they could not risk loosing him as well. Both of the queens' daughters shed many a tear and often, out loud, blamed those wolves and voiced their eternal hatred and how they would never forgive them. Time had passed since then.... The kingdom had recovered. This was in spite of everything that had happened. They still mourned their queen and others they had lost, but they knew they had to move on. And so, they did their best to do so, never forgetting them and what they did for the kingdom. Now, on the day that would have been the queens' birthday, they held a ball, a sort of celebration if you will, in her memory, the first of many. The children would honor their last promise to their mother before she had gone out onto the battlefield that day. They would find spouses and continue the family line, helping the kingdom in her place and doing whatever it took to be strong and happy. The husband remembered his own promise to her: if something should happen to her, he would focus on the kingdom and his own life, eventually remarrying when he was ready. And so, the time to keep such promises had arrived.... However, they did not sense it yet, but danger was in the air. The werewolves would try again someday. Now....what will happen?[/center]
