[b]Powers:[/b] Solar Empowerment: Reed is able to draw energy from the sun thus increasing his strength, stamina, regeneration and durability. But those aren't the only effects. By absorbing energy from the sun Reed also becomes self sustaining, no longer requiring food or water to live and he can also slow down or even stop his aging process. The drawback of this power is that it's only useful during daytime. At night or in a dark place with no sun, Reed has to rely on just his skills.

[b]History:[/b] Reed was only 4 years old when the heroes were purged from the world by the villains, 7 years later his parents were killed, leaving the 11 year old Reed alone in a dangerous world full of evil. After 2 years in which he was forced to steal in order to survive, Reed was taken in the care of the leader of a biker gang. As the years passed those bikers became like a 2nd family to Reed. Everybody was seeing him as a worthy successor to his adoptive father. However distaster struck him once again as their clubhouse was raided by a rival biker gang. Since they were caught off guard everybody died. Except for Reed. His powers saved his life. Angry and with a deep desire for vengeange Reed promised that from that day forward he will dedicate his life fighting evil and protecting the innocent and the weak from their vile grip. But if he were to do that, then he will do it his own way. 
[b]Personality:[/b] Reed is a bitter and hateful person. Although he is kind-hearted and his intentions are good, Reed dosen't hesitate to kill when necesary. He believes that death is the only punishment worthy of the world's villains. He dosen't believe in a brighter day or a better tomorow, he thinks that those days are dead and buried and that it's all about survival now. Reed is a big supporter of the "An eye for an eye" principle and applies it all the time. Reed dosen't consider himself a hero, nor does he want to be considered one. He thinks of himself as a punisher, an instrument of death directed against all that is evil.
