The Clan compound is guarded by thick cement walls that enclose it in a simple square. Two flags fly on each side of the entrance, both bear the same Clan insignia. Walking past the gate, if you're invited, you are immediately greeted with a small pond and a red bridge. It's very short, but a nice an elegant way to enter the rest of the compound. Once you step off you are faced with a few shops, and a long street. No matter which way you, you will find the same things - shops, restaurants, homes. At the end of each street, you can turn and find yourself on another street which resembles the first. There is one more street that it juts out towards the North East side of the compound. It is there rising above the first building that you'll find the Clan's Main Hall. Here, within its three stories, it not only houses the Head of the Clans family and artifacts passed down the Generations - the 3rd story is where all official business takes place. It

[indent]The Takenaka Clan had made a small name for themselves when it came to their craft - Weaponry. They forged out of the mountains around them and carefully skilled their art down to reliable and strong weapons. Among that, they also had promising Clan members that nimbly wielded the weapons crafted by them. It of course only made sense to be able to craft and wield your weapons efficiently.  This would ultimately be their claim to fame.

Norio, the Clean Leader, immediately chose the side of Asura. He saw great promise in the young mans techniques and abilities - especially when it came to the way he wielded a sword. So during this time they took their words and wisdom from this figure. As the Norio focused on his up and coming Shinobi, the Clan would her begin to divide into a few different areas. There were those not deemed adept enough to become a Shinobi, those that only seemed skilled in crafting the weapons, and those that were worthy enough to learn and prosper as fine Shinobi the Clan. Those that were chosen were subjected to grueling training sessions. But it was all about honor for them.  [/indent][/indent]

[indent]Over the years the Clan ended up moving towards Ame and ended up planting themselves there. Being closer to the Coast put them at an advantage to grab more materials incoming from islands and other lands off the coast. They made a name for themselves by obviously, their weapons, and the highly skilled Kenjutsu & Bukijutsu Shinobi that prospered through the years. They are a Clan known about retaining their Honor, but with that comes a smugness that most everyone who meets someone from the Clan can agree too. Short on words usually, they have a reputation for doing business quickly and diligently. As of right now they stand neutral to many Clans - mainly because they'd prefer to not lose business.
