Instead, she was just left speechless not because of the counter, but because of the comment that followed. She had to dig her teeth into her tongue hard just to keep herself from giggling for even a second. That girl claims to be her better? With discipline like that? She was on the verge of tearing into that girl just for some stupid, vapid comment. Biting a bit too hard, her eyelids squeezed tightly as she winced a bit in pain, releasing her tongue from its bony prison. Ridiculous is one word, but after Fried Calimari's earlier reaction, she just had to wonder how low the bar was for Japanese students. This wasn't something she could just overlook! Did they just pick up random wannabes with a temper tantrum like her off the street?! This school is suppose to be one of the most rigorous and prestigious and yet these three stooges could get in. Adrianne could just feel her fists being on the verge of bleeding as she dug deeper with her nails, knuckles slowly becoming a pale white until she released her hands. Breathe in and breathe out. In through your nose, out through your mouth. These idiots will be gone quicker than the indents you left on your hands, definitely. Despite all her breathing, she couldn't exactly relax, especially with the purple-prose-pissant now addressing her instead of the blue squid... though Adrianne did wonder why she was looking at the empty seat behind her. Guess it was in character for her to be nervous, at least that's what Adrianne got from first impressions. "She does realize I'm sitting adjacent from the squid kid, right? Actually, I think I'll pray she doesn't; easier to ignore her." Pretending to not even hear the girl, Adrianne proceeded to just rap and tap her arms as she stared up at the stage, watching the gathering faculty members get everything set up. It would be stupid to rush, but in a situation like, she prayed they would speed it up so she wouldn't have to spend any more time with these clowns. Especially the green haired girl looking behind her when Adrianne spoke up- wait why is she looking behind her too? Adrianne's mouth was hanging open as she blinked. Either she had another quirk that caused people with an IQ lower than 2 to look behind her when she spoke, she was just that intimidating to the point where people had to avert eye contact, or these two were just plain stupid, and guessing on the way this girl just responded, Adrianne chose to believe it was the former. Adrianne merely reclined and rested into her seat, grumbling about speaking up or mistakes as she tilted her head skyward. Of course, it was hard to ignore this imbecile the moment she made that disparaging insult. A physical vein formed on the side of her forehead, looking ready to pop at any moment as her arms began to lightly vibrate. "Tch." Adrianne's head slowly straightened itself, her head turning as if she was some sort of machine, towards that bitch as she starred daggers at the girl with her piercing red glare. If looks could kill, not even a quirk that could bring back the dead could help her here. "Watch. Your. Tongue," Adrianne hissed venomously under her breath, her visage darkening as the girl passed by her, the horned girls eyes never leaving Haruhi. Of course, until she went to play with the squid girls hair; at this point, she visibly grimaced and scoffed, facepalming as she watched the scene unfold. This could not get any stupider as the former reacted poorly and grasped at the girls hands. Honestly, she expected the girl to tell these green haired bozo to piss off and respect her personal space, especially with what she was doing, but instead decided to go with threatening her. "Considering how you two are acting, I think I should be worrying more about my 'betters' than my Japanese, especially since one invades peoples personal space and one threatens people at the drop of a dime." Rolling her eyes and sighing, she sunk into her seat, keeping an eye more on the green haired pissant than the blue squiget.
