Maybe it was her reactionary nature, but she very nearly responded in kind, as she had before. The bickering around her that she found herself involved in seemed to be escalating no matter what she did. Did she pick the wrong seat? The blue-haired girl considered very strongly that she had made a mistake by even interacting with the purple-haired girl in the first place. While the horned girl was right that she had needlessly threatened the other girls, Yoshi did wonder if the mouthy gaijin intended to comment on everything around her. Were they the same in that their impulses seemed to get the best of them? What would it take to keep her mouth shut? Yoshiba didn't have much time to think on the thought before the sound of a booming voice caused her to straighten up her posture and turn to attention. By the end of the speech by the apparent headmaster, her impression probably mirrored the speaker's. It was a chore, effectively useless, and she wasn't all too interested in it. But that was probably where her feelings and the dean's ended. Yoshiba knew that Ishin was a tough-as-nails school, heck, everybody knew it. The whole world knew it. The whole spiel about proving you belong and just getting in wasn't going to keep them in the academy was old news. Her mother had gone to Ishin Academy when she was the same age, so she had heard all of the stories about Ishin's no nonsense attitude and what it took to “soar skyward”. It did not surprise her in the slightest. After all, she hadn't applied to Ishin Academy thinking it was going to be easy or fun, she had applied because it was known for creating some of the best heroes in the entire world. Second to UA in all of Japan. Her mother being a former alumni just happened to be dressing on the cake. Outside of introducing herself and a slight engagement with her peers she had stayed quiet in the time leading up to Snowman's speech. She wasn't keen on trying to socialize or waste time. Analyzing the room was more important; if not for a moron touching her hair and two blustering idiots she would have been left alone. She had been proper. She had set boundaries. She showed initiative by being at the assembly earlier than every single other first year despite being from as far as Kagoshima. In her mind, she had shown that she understood the fact that Ishin Academy was a battleground and she needed to prove to those above her how everyone else was second best. As the speech came to its end she took a light breath, thinking about every word the retired hero had stated. The most surprising and disappointing thing she heard was about the first day of school. So, for the whole day she wasn't going to get to meet her homeroom teacher? She wasn't going to get to leave her mark in the classroom? She thought about the concept, but she supposed some people needed it. Weaker people. Sidekicks. If Ishin thought she, the soon-to-be greatest hero of her generation, was going to waste time sight-seeing in Sapporo they were sorely mistaken. She was going to train and prepare. “Acclimated, huh?” Yoshiba muttered underneath her breath. “Lame.” As students dispersed, she looked over at the pamphlet in her free hands that explained the campus and came with a map. She wasn't sure how long it took for a peppy female voice seemed to shout over the crowd. She was keen on ignoring her until she said a specific phrase that caught her attention. Class 1A. She stretched her legs, before heading in the direction of the girl without talking to any of the girls that had bothered her before the speech. There was a whole day of training to get started.
