[b][color=7099cf]Biography[/color][/b] Born in northern France to a French computer engineer father and a Danish model mother, Cassie's early life was comfortable and pampered. However when her father's company was hit by recession the family was forced to move to Scotland, one of the few places her father was able to find work. The strain of the change in their financial fortunes was rough both on Cassie and her mother, and soon she found herself relying on food for comfort.

By the time she reached high school Cassie was a plump young girl, much to both her mother's distress and her classmate's delight. The constant abuse from her peers caused the young woman to develop an eating disorder, but luckily her mother's experience in the modelling industry allowed her to identify the symptoms of the disorder early enough for her to find therapeutic help for her daughter before any great harm came to her.

As part of her recovery, Cassie's therapist introduced her to athletics and the young girl soon developed a taste for jogging and martial arts. Signing up for a local Ju Jitsu course, which helped her develop a strict sense of self discipline, Cassie found her body transformed from the rounded plumpness she'd come to accept in herself into a lithe, athletic shape maintained by a strict dietary regime and exercise schedule.

It was soon after this that Cassie met Siofra for the first time. The two girls' first encounter was a pure accident as they crashed into each other while jogging one misty night. Expecting the stranger to start teasing her, Cassie immediately went on the offensive, accusing Siofra of attacking her deliberately before storming off in an angry rage. It wasn't until much later that Cassie realised her mistake, but believed she'd never see the beautiful stranger ever again.

Several weeks later, while on another night run, Cassie ran into the red-haired beauty again. This time however the 'run in' wasn't as literal as their first encounter, and after a few nervous minutes Cassie finally plucked up the courage to apologise for her previous behaviour, and luckily Siofra accepted the apology with good humour.

Over the next few months the two budding athletes gradually took to spending more time together, sharing their achievements and failures as they both grew as people. Siofra's calming presence helped Cassie control her hair-trigger anger issues, and by the time they moved away to college the couple decided to move in together. With her new girlfriend's help Cassie managed to complete her law degree and started practicing in her new career.

It was clear to Cassie that she'd found her true soulmate in Siofra, and once she was securely employed Cassie took the plunge and proposed to Siofra. However, since lesbian marriages weren't legal at the time the women declared their love by wearing wedding rings on their right hands, while Siofra did everything she could to help the movement to legalise lesbian marriages in Scotland. Eventually her hard work paid off, and early in 2015 the couple were amongst the first lesbians to be officially married.

Since then Cassie has done everything she can to fight for LGBT rights through the EU, including providing pro bono counsel for those facing unfair conditions and fighting discrimination. With Siofra at her side, tempering Cassie's more volatile impulses, the future looks bright for the French immigrant.
