Her discoveries in other fields of cryptobiology were highly beneficial to SEMA even before she was brought on board. She now uses her increased access to specimens and samples to produce more refined data to the agency. CHARACTER Strengths: Intelligent, Unflappable, Tenacious Weaknesses: Socially stunted, Physically untrained, Absent-minded Hobbies: Reading, tabletop wargames, "arguing" PSYCHOLOGICAL AND BEHAVIORAL PROFILE Dr. Wilson exhibits some token behaviors of the perpetually lonely, having difficulty relating to peers and often second-guessing the social intent of others. She works overtime frequently but infrequently logs these hours, indicating some obsessive tendencies relating to work, though not to the clinical level. Dr. Wilson has been described as "pleasant, but strange" by other members of staff. She does not appear to have many, if any, close friends within the agency. BIOGRAPHICAL OVERVIEW Born the daughter of a British father (Anthony Wilson) and a Czech mother (Katerina Sedlak), Julia had a fairly traditional upbringing in Cardiff before moving to Cambridge for her university studies. Her fascination with cryptozoology seems to stem from an incident in her adolescence. Several students in her intermediate school were killed by an unidentified cryptid entity. A young Julia Wilson was targetted by the creature and as it attacked her on school grounds, she noted that it avoided areas where the floors had been freshly cleaned by the janitor, but did not avoid water. Thinking quickly, she led the creature to the Janitor's closet and exposed it to the floor-cleaning solution. The creature had a severe allergic reaction and rapidly expired. See SEMA Event File 2/2003-14 for additional details. This event lead Dr. Wilson to her Cryptobiology career. She graduated at the top of her class from secondary school and Valedictorian from Cambridge University. Dr. Wilson has successfully isolated and refined 6 substances toxic to common cryptids as well as developing 3 compounds with intensively narcotic effects on Werewolves to aid in pacification and containment. (Chemical Compound Writeups are available in the Chemical Lab 3A file locker, under "Compounds".) ADDITIONAL ALERTS Dr. Wilson has claimed the viability of breeding a strain of domesticated pixies for human ownership. Dr. Wilson is not permitted to utilize live specimens taken by SEMA for this project.
