Hands in the folds of his trousers, treating them as glorified pockets, he halted when she spun and gracefully plopped on the crates. He raised an eyebrow, wondering what this could be for. He was very wary, truth be told. But at least she seemed casual, despite her imperious nature. Her gaze held his mesmerizingly once he deigned to look in her eyes, but he tried to play it off as nothing. As she spoke however, she became less appealing. Something about her seemed sorcerous, and her tale didn't halt the notion. But it had been a very dry summer for him, and he did need some way to get money.
