[b]Personality[/b]: 

Rose has always been quietly restless, dissatisfied with a peaceful, average life. He seeks a deeper meaning to life, something to care for, something worth fighting for. Withdrawn is another good word to describe him, cautious in many ways, but also confident and self assured. He’s dependable, with a rare devious streak, but also stand-offish and inconsiderate, awkward even.

All Titanians know their gardens, be they alien or terran, in ground or in space, flowers or vegetables. If it lives they can make it grow, or come damn close to figuring it out. And if, coincidentally, they also know exactly what chemical fertilizers go together explosively, or what treated herbs result in sudden heart failure, well that’s just a happy accident isn't it?

As a colonial, Rose also has a good grasp of most skills needed to run a colony, being well versed in minor mechanics, electronics, construction, and agriculture, with a decent knowledge of what conditions are required to sustain terran life and how best to attain them. 

Officially trained in the use of firearms and combat tactics, both on the ground and on the ship, with a good head for dealing with high stress situations and the intuition to give him just enough luck to score above average on the company board’s rosters.

[b]History[/b]: Rose was born in a dome on Titan, in the colonial city-state region of Saturnalia, the capital of the planetary government and the oldest city on Titan. His parents were free spirits looking to get away from the ingrained mess that is Earth and start a life somewhere they could live peacefully, and yet still make a difference. They became influential members of the community despite being neither wealthy nor politically connected, and they helped mold Saturnalia’s community into what it is today. In many ways Rose and his parents are opposites; where they are vegetarians, he isn’t, where they are pacifists, Rose believes he should fight for his beliefs, and where they are avid socializers and active members of the community, Rose prefers a smaller, more private collection of friends. Still, they have many similarities, believing in the same causes if not quite the same method to achieve them, and they share hobbies and traditions that make keeping in contact with his family not at all a bother.

Rose gained his mothers’ nickname for him when he was young, the couple delighting in dying his hair every color they could think of until finally when he was six they dyed it pink. The short form of his name suddenly fit perfectly, even if it was stereotypically feminine, and it has stuck with him ever since. Now as an officer in private security, often among colleagues and comrades he doesn’t know well, he is instead mostly called his surname, Delgado, and rarely as Rosales when addressed off duty.

Rose vacationed to Earth after graduating, and was caught up in how big the cities are and how many different people live in them. He returned to Earth again in search of a job more exciting than could be found on peaceful Titan, and began working under a few different security deals before finally being snapped up by the company Superior due to his experience off world. Many companies or states with operations in space or on colonies often prefer to hire spacers or colonials for their workers, many of them simply more experienced and knowledgeable about space travel and colonial matters than most Terrans would ever be.

After two years employed by Superior, Rose was finally promoted to CO, Chief Officer, of the SSV Fitzgerald and has led a rather boring spin across the local cluster as second in command of the salvage vessel.
