Dictated by traditions, the second children were only meant to be the keys of unlocking the clan’s greatest power for the firstborn child. As such Mirai was not given a name at birth, instead she was referred to as Karasu (烏) by her family a more pleasant name than most secondborns were called. Despite her destiny she was allowed to participate in the training regime the other children went through and soon gained the nickname of shiryō (飼料) from her peers and led to Amachi (天千) and Kagura (神楽) explaining the role and importance she had in their family in hopes she would find pride in her future contribution for her older brother’s power. Unsurprisingly Mirai wasn’t interested in any of that, she refused to subscribe to a “destiny” that had been predetermined, so she dedicated every spare second she had to train her mind, body, and soul. While her fellow clansmen held their own coming of age ceremonies, left on grueling missions and celebrated amongst themselves she trained until her body was exhausted and then some more. Four years, she melted into the background, isolated herself from the people surrounding her and grew the storm that welled inside her.

On her tenth birthday, there were preparations, she was pampered for the first time in her life. Treated like an actual living being for once and it was unsatisfying. No sooner was she being fitted in a pristine white yukata was she brought across from her older brother dressed in the ceremonial battle uniform looking smug and disgusting. The kekkei genkai was only unlocked through spilling the blood of a sibling beneath Jubokko, and per tradition, the siblings were to fight to the death. The confidence of the room was heavy on the opposition and in the moment before their fight began Mirai realized she felt nothing, and even after becoming the monster of old wives tales with the blood of the boy who should have slain her soaking the white yukata she felt only a slight pull towards a hunger for more. The silence in the ceremony hall was broken by the muffled sound of her brother's body falling before the tree and a shout of “Mirai!” from somewhere in the room, and [I]that[/i] would become her name.

From there Mirai paved her own journey seeking to fill the emptiness inside her with whatever she could manage. Being a late entry into the Academy was no big deal for her. Mirai worked diligently and quickly ascended the ranks among her classmates. Where others made friends she was often the loner more interested in training and was painfully oblivious to her "rivals" and the kids who idolized her for being the "cool girl".  

During the war Mirai spent a very short amount of time as a genin in a four-man squad doing support missions. Though during a war even simple scouting missions turned hairy and revealed that Mirai was not quite the team player she often left her teammates vulnerable and put the success of the mission before their well being. A particularly bad situation happened two years before the end of the second war resulted in two of Mirai's teammates being killed and her sensei being permanetly incapacitated. Despite the overall mission's success Mirai was punished for her actions and promptly taken off duty. With the new Tanikage in place and the Chuunin exams on the horizon it'll be the first time in two years Mirai will be put to the test against people outside of her clansmen. This Kekkei Tōta combines three chakra natures in itself: yin, yang and water. Mirai has an abundant amount of chakra that could lend to her becoming a prodigy with Blood release but focuses her efforts in other areas. Though if the duty calls for it success is worth more than her pride on a battlefield.[/color][/indent][/indent][/indent]

This technique lets the user create a three-sided wall of electricity to bind their opponent. The user must have three conductors to stick in the ground to create the points. Furthermore, once the enemy is inside, if they come into contact with the wall they will be electrocuted. The only way the technique can be broken is if an outside party were to strike one of the walls with a strong enough attack, which will then deactivate the other walls.

The weapons are strong enough to cut through most things, and have as much durability as her chakra will allow.
