As you look around, suddenly the leaf speeds up, as if it's catching up for lost time, while you find your arm suddenly moving more slowly than the rest of your body, dragging on you, painful if you try and move too fast. Then, once more, the effect changes, and you find your shirt and right foot being affected. It seems to switch every ten seconds or so.
