One of the more shocking things to happen to Isabella is that Diego actually put her in charge of the ministry of defence? What the fuck, she was shocked when the news came to her in form of a local courier that she used between the cartels. She was a bit upset because she had to leave her ivory tower in the jungle but at the same time she was concerned due to the fact she was apart of a violent cartel and occasionally a guerilla fighter. So she was unsure if she was going to be shot the second she walked into the captial.

Later on when she did enter the captial (in a nice dress no less) she was glared at by some whom she passed in transit of a government car but it's not like they could do anything. She left her lieutenants to run her piece of the cartel while she was in office making money and... living well. This seemed to go against everything she stood for (if you looked at a glance) but the cartel ran the country now, not her cartel specifically but it was a step in the right direction.
