She is casting retro way just at the start here [s]cause elves are old school yo[/s] mainly when she's in that more 'mechanical' mindset she's falling back on. In this mental state casts the super retro way her old crusty high elf teacher taught her, which would have been the first casting method worked into her (before learning the other stuff). Thought it'd be a nice old school touch. XD

But outside of involvement with undead, where that mindset kicks in for her, she will be swiftly segway-ing back into more modern stuff and silent casting otherwise. :P
