Kat always tries to be the balanced voice reason. She gives people second chances until it hurts, mainly herself. Sometimes she gets so caught up helping other people that she puts herself last. But don't mistake her kindness for weakness. When she has something in her head it's impossible for Kat to shake it.

Kat was born and raised in Norway. She was the middle child with two older siblings and two younger siblings, so she became the voice of reason between the older ones who pushed too far and the younger ones who thought they could do whatever they wanted. Kat was the least of her parents' worries as she stepped in as a pseudo-parent. She carried that same role with her when it came to her friends. Lovingly dubbed the "mom friend" she was always the first to take care of others. Some people would try to take advantage of her kindness, Kat always proved that she could hold her own and never backed down from a fight. A handful of people saw her angry and the others treated it like an urban myth.
Kat started to notice things were different for her around the age of 10. One of the only times she was truly angry, she had gotten into a screaming match with her older brother in the street. The louder she screamed, the harder the street started to rumble. When she finally fell silent Kat was convinced there was a small earthquake. She thought it might've been in her head, but her brother's wide eyes made her think otherwise. Kat really got suspicious in high school when she volunteered to work at a community garden and all her plants bloomed at her touch. People told her she had a green thumb, but she thought otherwise. She would be thrilled to find out that she was right, but much less so when she would have to leave her family.
